People get emotional sometimes. For you it's when you hear about a black man violently attacking someone and being killed by his victim, for him it's when his family has been through hell as they've had death threats and his name has been run through the mud with completely false allegations. Everyone has things that set them off.

The betting odds have confirmation at 80%, you might as well make your peace with a pissed off Kavanaugh being on the bench for the next 3 decades. You did your best trying to steal the seat, but you came up short.

Hiding out, knowing she will vote to confirm and then face all those that believe she was protecting the right to choose. She and Murkowski will have to live with their votes... oh wait, kanavaugh told her he thought Roe was settled law.

yea sure... juts like people won't admit they voted for trump, GOP senators hiding their intention to vote for kavanaugh. It will go party line plus manchin, who often votes with republicans anyway.

I'm wondering if there will be long lasting repercussions of the failure by the Democrats despite the absolute most dirty tactics ever used in an effort to take down a SCOTUS nominee....let's not forget that Andrew Breitbart first became a conservative due to the attempted lynching of Clarence Thomas. I wonder if Democrats created any new Andrew Breitbarts today.

Lasting repercussions will be for Republicans. Women are going to make them pay. It will start in November.

Oh, he was just overwhelmed with Christian love for his family! (And the fact that his daughter discerned the truth.)

LOL, feel free to hold your breath if you'd like. Perhaps you think women are stupid, but your misogyny aside, I think women are smart enough to look at the evidence and come to a rational conclusion.

I would believe that if the election happened today. I think for some women it is possible it will last until November.

The problem is that there is semi-crisis almost every day, especially with this President. It might not be on the minds of people in November.

    Good God, thanks,Sherlock Jim Acosta.

Theres no partisan divide. There's a divide between the majority of people committed to truth, reason, decency, humanity and fairness to all people, and a minority of people who are not as committed to those things, or who only will dole them out to a select few, exemplified by their current embarrassment of a leader, but also by the seedy, petty rigtheousness of their best and brightest, Lord Brett, Georgetown Prep Ralph Clubber and Renata Alumnus.

    Let’s be honest here please:

The Trump base turned to rally around BK simply for the fact that they felt he was “owning the libs” by yelling and throwing out bizarre left wing conspiracy theories like they do on Internet forums.

You can do anything wrong and be the worst criminal in the country but as long as you yell and blame libs you are our hero.

How sad has this portion of the country become?

    Let's be honest here please:

The only reason you are against "BK" is due to his political ideology. In no other situation would you find completely baseless allegations grounds for derailing a SCOTUS nominee.

How sad is the portion of the country that thinks that way?

I’d imagine the vote goes through.

But the right getting mad about the left using dirty tactics to delay a Supreme Court nominee is pretty rich.

Why would you say that? Has the right used dirty tricks to delay or prevent a Supreme Court nominee that had the support to be confirmed?
