She was trying to draw the conclusion that of course he must have been through a black out because he admits to drinking.

He made her state that she hasn't had one. She didn't say that she does not drink.

So, it puts the fallacy of one who drinks must have blacked out exposed.

Well that's not really true, there are witnesses, but they debunk her version of the story rather than corroborating it.

honestly he knows he doesn't have their vote, he will never have their votes, and that he has absolutely NOTHING to lose by returning their disdain for him with his own disdain for what they've done with this process.
