As i suspected, she was being a bit evasive, but also wasn't lying.
Because the way the prosecutor asked the questions was very poor - common throughout.

One thing I am not at all concerned about is the potential that Kavanaugh would abuse his office to take revenge on political enemies if he's confirmed. Even if it's true he's a rapist, that doesn't mean he's down for every act of villainy one can imagine.

 

I think he might have been told that his nomination is likely "done with"?

Ford gives unprovable accusations. Almost everything Kavanaugh is saying can be confirmed with some easy investigating.

Yes she would. I am not sure why the Republicans are surprised. She grew up in an exclusive area with a very strong formal education and is a professor associated with Stanford. The republicans (or some of them) really seemed to think that she was someone that the democrats just scrounged up off the street.

The democratic Senators are a joke. Half are idealogues and the other half are self serving grandstanders.

Lost in all of this is circumstantial evidence, and the totality of evidence. This also isn't a criminal case, this is a hearing. The Republicans better be damn certain that Avenatti doesn't have anything, because if he does, that will be a nightmare for them.

There is a lot of ignorance all around, but yes those that trash her are just nasty.
