The manner in which she answered was dishonest. She picked her attorney based on the suggestion of Senator Feinstien yet when asked about who offered advice, she chose to talk about friends and family that didn't end up influencing her decision. She was clearly not wanting to talk about Senator Feinstien's contribution and attempted to avoid mentioning it.

What is weird to me is that even when there is something like this. Humans still go to their own corner. All of the Democrats automatically believe her and tell her she is courageous. While all the Republicans attempt to ask her questions to call in to question her credibility.

People on here do the same thing. It is pathetic. It truly is.

I am starting to agree with him.

This is a lose/lose. Kavanaugh will be more centered than the Republicans next pick. Personally I am very frustrated with the ideologues we are putting on the Supreme Court.

If this nomination derails, this kangaroo court will not be forgotten. Politicians on both sides will be using anything and everything to disrupt the government. For as much hatred there is towards Trump, the country has learned nothing.

Anyone who is at the least bit impartial should make their judgement and opinions based on the evidence. Unfortunately there aren't that many of them.

Her gentle attempts to poke holes in Ford's testimony utterly fail in this forum.

That's not what I and I suspect most people took from it... mostly because it was a poor question asked poorly.

It's as if the prosecutor lady was asking "Did you go to yelp to pick your attorney, or the phone book, or did you ask someone for a referral?"

    It's a dumb question.

Made dumber by the fact that if the implication is that her lawyers are "bought" or bad or have ulterior motives, go ahead and say that and let's have a referendum on the law firm.

Lol. The frantic death throws for the right.

Probably because this is a Kavanaugh Supreme Court confirmation hearing.

I don't believe or disbelieve here on the surface.

I'm just shocked and amazed at how poorly run the whole thing was by the GOP, as various posts and tweets and apparently Trump's questioning confirms.

They've seriously hurt their cause... whatever it is.

If I was to lean one way or another coming off of this, of course I'd find Ford trustworthy. Who wouldn't off of what we just saw?? bobby I guess.

I guess you slept through 8 years of Obama. Maybe we can take five or six more straw polls about repealing Obamacare.

Bill Clinton was impeached for lying under oath. It had nothing to do with the multiple sexual assaults he committed.

Come on now.. The republicans refused to confirm Obama's pick for more than a year. Trumps first pick was confirmed without any problem. Politicians have been doing this for years.

Lol what a disaster for the republicans. Did the republicans provide the questions for the prosecutor to ask? They seemed more like questions republican senators would ask.

LOL of course you didn't take anything away from it, I'd almost be shocked if you did.

If someone asked you who helped you pick out your car and you answered that it was your significant other among other friends and family and then we find out that you were just issued it by your company....wouldn't that seem like a lie? Of course it would.

This was obviously an attempt for her to downplay the influence of Senator Feinstien in her decision to pick her attorney.

There is no further implication, it's just an example of her attempting to hide the truth and when you put that with her admission that she lied or exaggerated her "fear of flying" in order to manipulate the process it shows that she's not beyond that kind of thing and isn't the most truthful.

I understand and "feel" all of that. It is odd that inherently people try to prove her right, the other side tries to prove her wrong. I could go into more detail. It is a waste of time though.

Yup, and she accused her therapist of writing her story down wrong.....basically it's everyone else that is mistaken or wrong, not her.
