Hey now. If it wasn’t for those never trumpers and democrats you’d be unemployed or would be making substantially less rubles every month.

Taxes pay for a healthy and safe society to live in, with roads, schools, police, fire department, and the military. Taxes are not theft that is just stupid, you get the benefits of living in this society, taxes are the price.

So like every politician in the modern age? I wonder how politicians did anything before websites, because that is usually the only place you get real information on where they stand.

Beto is running on the I care about your opinions that is why I visited every county in the state of Texas. That is what makes Beto's campaign special. He's putting in the leg work.

He's a big part of the waste. If the people didn't want waste, there would be a lot more Rand Pauls in office.

Instead we'll just settle for bankrupting our Nation.

Anybody that says mainstream media, or MSM, has already fallen victim to Trump's (or the right's) propaganda machine. If anybody says anything you don't agree with, even if there is some substance of it, just yell "the lying MSM." Repeat it enough, and people actually believe you, even though you know you are lying through your teeth.

This whole tax debate is interesting too. Sure, Trump lowered taxes (it benefited the lower/middle class a little, but disproportionately benefits the wealthy), but these tariffs and other policies are making cost of living more expensive. If you save a $100 on taxes, but over the course of a year, if it costs you $300 more to buy everyday things, it shouldn't take a genius to figure out that you are worse off. Trump and Republicans know that all they have to do is focus on the $100 you saved by repeatedly yelling "lower taxes!!1!", and most people are too lazy/uneducated to care that their own government is screwing them.

Republicans have always favored the rich. It is pretty simple; they have the power, and they want to keep the power. I don't necessarily blame them. It is in their best interest to widen the gap between the haves and the have nots. And their policies reflect that. From a purely theoretical standpoint, I probably lean more with their [actual] values, but it is because they prey on the lower class, and want to push everyone down so they can rise, I simply cannot vote for them.

You say push them down, I say raise them up and let them stand on their own two feet instead of depending on assistance. Check this out, less unemployment means more people pay taxes and less people take your paid taxes. You think tariffs are hurting the poor? More things made in America means more jobs overall. See how that works? Less people sponging, more people contributing. For the longest we have encouraged single women to have multiple babies and live off government with no fathers while the “fathers” sorry ass is also looking for a handout. Who suffers? The kids raised with no fathers and the rest of the tax paying country.

Depends on how many more of the “only hire the best” flip on Trump....

Can’t be good that the Trump Foundation CFO talked to Mueller under oath.

Lol.... are we significantly making more products here in America or is that more “hope and change”....?

Lol. That’s a cute theory but the real world is different.

Cruz opponents hate him because he was a mime in high school. Yet they act like Beto never got drunk, drove his car into oncoming traffic, got in a wreck, and then attempted to flee the scene — while he was a fully grown adult.

    Just sayin’

this is not free-market capitalism or supply-side economics, which real republicans have always supported...this is government intervention on a massive scale. you realize you are arguing for socialism, right?

    haha - ok bernie-bro!

id ask how you think jobs are created, but i think i have my answer - you think its the job of the government to create jobs.

protectionist trade policies, tariffs and subsidies to farmers are "conservative" now! wanting the government to create jobs instead of believing in free market capitalism are "conservative" now! what a time to be alive!:D

Really? You think people aren't voting for Ted Cruz because he was a mime in high school?

Plenty of people laughed at Ted Cruz because he was a mime in high school, but we also laugh at him for the myriad other ways he is an uncomfortable human being in his own skin. But I'm reasonably confident literally nobody was planning to vote for Ted Cruz but changed their Cruz vote to Beto O'Rourke when they saw that mime photo. It was just another good reason to laugh at his awkwardness.

And I won't speak for anybody else on this, but I don't hate him, I just don't like his creepy weirdness running off on me transitively as my representative. I'm perfectly happy for him to go live in Katy somewhere and eat Campbell's Soup to his heart's content and live a long and happy life, so long as he doesn't represent me.
