You can have 1000 completely baseless allegations and they won't measure up to 1 credible allegation.

The initial allegation was the equivalent of saying that Obama was born in Kenya, the second allegation was the equivalent of saying Obama was a secret Muslim, this new allegation is the equivalent of saying that Obama is the reincarnation of Vladimir Lenin.

 

You would think. But in crazytown DC, with one party controlling 3 branches and wanting to lock that up for the next 30 years, don't bet on anything sane and decent happening.

I find it very unlikely that these three women are lying. But then, I also find it unlikely that more than a dozen accusers of our Dear Leader are lying, or that the accusers of William J. Clinton were lying.

It's quite jarring the number of cultists on Twitter you can see taking a side without a shred of evidence. Allegation, allegation, he said, she said, blah, blah, blah. Political activists have devolved into children. These people make it hard to take their side seriously.

 

Supreme Court nominees, of either party, don't lie like this. They obfuscate, they're evasive about their opinions on cases, but Kavanaugh is a uniquely dishonest guy. I guess it's because, unlike most nominees, he's had a very, very shady career in Washington, not to mention his personal life.

 

I don't know what to believe because i haven't jumped to conclusions yet, but it doesn't look good for Kavanaugh. Do you actually believe that someone who has government security clearances is willing to open herself up to perjury in order to participate in a conspiracy theory to take down a Supreme Court nominee when the Republicans could just move forward and nominate another conservative for the court?

All it takes is one credible accusation....but of course there hasn't been any credible allegations. I think that after Kavanaugh is on the bench, there's no need to go after the women the DNC used as puppets for political purposes. They've embarrassed themselves enough.

 

I agree with this. If these parties took place as described (and multiple times), there should be a lot witnesses coming forward.

As a complete aside, I think she did herself a disservice by going to Avenatti. She should have gone to a lawyer with a better reputation and who is less self-serving.
