A little of both. From what I did watch he was sidestepping just like he did when they asked him right after he signed. I guess they kept pressing him and eventually he came up with the simplest and correct answer? I still get the vibe he really doesn't want to come off the bench. Hopefully he comes in with a good attitude and everything works out beautifully. I'm rooting for the guy but he's got some perceptions to overcome.
Agreed, even I was annoyed by the question. It was asked at least 6 different times over different interviews.
He actually did say that he'll be wherever the team decides is best for him. I think you just missed that part.
James Harden needs to get game shape fast. He can't slack off even for a single game. I'm no hater. I love James, he has so much talent, he was the true MVP. He has to build up on that. We can't do anything without him. I like Melo's attitude and confidence.
Yeah me too. He is bad managing finances. Personally I think the best move for him is to be in repeater tax every year. He should sell off all his assets and pour it into the team. What a fiscally irresponsible human being.
your silly sarcasm aside, let's not forget he's gone into debt just to buy the team, and that at an excessively inflated price. but getting back to what i actually wrote, the issue of whether he should or should not pay the repeater tax was not even mentioned. the only point made was that with the longterm contracts on our books now it will be almost impossible for him to avoid paying that repeater tax.
Gerald Green has easily becoming one of my favorite Rockets of all time. His joy for playing for his home city is something I haven't seen in awhile.
