I haven't kept up with this one as much, but didn't Ramirez's best friend in college say she never heard of this story?

Yeah, plus the New York Times interviewed "dozens" of people that knew Ramirez in college including everyone she said was there when it happened and literally no one can corroborate her story.....just like Ford.

I think it's time we admit the obvious, that this is just the dirtiest of politics and it shows that the current DNC will do literally anything to push their agenda even if it means effectively attacking all real victims of sexual assault.

So you aren't principled about your ideology?

I think a moderate right winger, as you claim yourself as, as true libertarians are, would despise extreme right wingers...It's not right that you'd root for them just to 'spite' the other party if you are actually principled about your positions.

Well, first of all, we know that they would. They would start with making it illegal for gay people to marry and then strip away choice from women. Not just abortions, but contraceptives as well.

I'm not saying the above is the position of the right wing...but these are the positions of wingnuts that you are apparently cool with throwing your support behind just to spite people.

This line stands out right here...

"but even if they did, Democrats would deserve it for their scumbag actions"

You say here that even if they did take away rights that 'Democrats' deserve it...but do right wing LGBT people deserve their rights taken away? Do conservative women deserve rights and choices taken away from them?

Seems like when you are operating on policy for revenge then maybe you need to sit down and wonder if you are on the right side of things.

clients of Michael Avenantti, not Stormy Daniels, Prof Ford nor Debbie Ramirez, are making new accusations that

Kavanaugh, his friend Mark Judge, and others targeted women with drugs and alcohol
“in order to allow a ‘train’ of men to subsequently gang rape them” at house parties in the early 1980s.

Depends on what they are extreme about. Either way, you are clearly not following along with what I'm saying, so let's just move on.

LOL, yeah and Obama is a secret Kenyan Muslim.....take the tin foil hat off if you want to keep this conversation going.

....or maybe we could avoid all of this by not being such pieces of **** that we encourage women to lie about sexual assault in an effort to advance a political narrative. I guess you just dismissed the idea that Democrats could stop being pieces of ****. I mean, you're probably right, but let's give hope a chance.

You meant with an actual attempted rape at a young age (high school), it’s not disqualifying if one know the wrong and truely apologize for the wrong doing? I can agree with that. People can and do change.

P.s. that type of personal growth is why I think for any federal bench, especially SCJ, records all the way back to high school (not just 18) count exactly to see if there was any wrong doing and if so, if there is a record of an honest knowing of the wrong doing and of correcting it.

Why do you always fall back to this one phrase lol?

So I'm wrong? A libertarian would agree with extreme right-wing positions?

Yeah, that Obama isn't American thing was something your boy Trump helped propagate btw...it is a funny but crazy theory, I agree with that...

Well, not surprised by this response. Your bias is so strong that you actually think the right wing SCOTUS Judges are the reason we have legal gay marriage, so I'm not sure I want to get into any conversation with you about what is and isn't right-wing extremism.

It seems you don't even realize that there are people on your side of the fence that want to make abortion illegal and ban/limit contraceptives.

The women are lying? News to me. I guess you have all the facts, you should go help him out and show your proof to the eeevil Dems.

With the number of intelligent, good jurists out there, why would one give up one of the spots to a one-time attempted rapist even if they appeared to live the rest of their life in contrition? I believe in forgiveness and second chances, but some things should just disqualify a person from some positions. (no, I don't think Beto's drunk driving charge hould disqualify him. If it was rape or murder, actual or attemoted, I personally would feel it would).

LMFAO Dude just really is painting a picture of himself being a drunk, incoherent misogynist that frequented parties... with a wingman that wrote about there escapades and also has been accused of gang raping incoherent coeds by his ex wife.

The version of himself that he is trying to sell just doesn’t fit what we know.

We will see if a smoking gun emerges but the shtick he tried to peddle to Fox isn’t true. It may work and all of this is politics, but he wasn’t a nerdy and quiet college student. He was a stumbling drunk that associated with some questionable people and had no problem making references to women as conquests. Does that guarantee he is an attempted rapist, of course not. I’ll just say I won’t be shocked either way.

This. A SC Justice is the most exclusive position. They are life appointments. An attempted rape is a disqualifing event. It shows poor judgment at 15 or 50.

if Ginsburg croaks, GOP senators and SCOTUS justices/nominees will need 24/7 security

Not to side track but he did lose control of his car at 75 mph, hit a truck, went across the media into oncoming traffic, and then tried to drive away. So he could have killed someone very easily. All that said it doesn't factor into how I see him today.

Well, it comes up frequently because reading comprehension apparently is something that a lot of people struggle with. If you hear it a lot....well, there's a reason for it.

Yeah, some. Again, it just depends on what you call "extreme right wing positions".

And it seems that you are no better...do try to be better.

It was a conservative majority court that made that ruling, and going by what the constitution says is a conservative thing so....

It's not shocking that it would be news to you, I'm sure you just swallowed the allegations hook, line, and sinker the second they came out and took them as fact simply because you wanted them to be true. If we are incredibly kind we could say that they are simply mistaken, but there's no question about the allegations being false. Anyone with even half a functioning brain could see that....maybe even some Democrats could see it too.
