Mike Tyson is a dark horse, but People Are Saying there was an incident with Mike’s tiger on the set of Apprentice that didn’t go well with The Donald’s hair.

The good news is that no articles of hair was harmed in the set.

Sounds like baseless allegations there, citation for a citation man. And considering that you propose liars to get assaulted, secret service should stop by your place given that this type of proposition should apply to POTUS too, right?

I agree though. Democrats would do much better if they had 65 women lined up to accuse a nominee of immoral character - the way Kavanaugh had them lined up to prove the opposite. (#sarcasm)

PS McConnell advised to pick someone with less baggage - he disagrees with your assumptions on skeletons in the closet apparently

This is why I don’t get the criticism of Dems being partisan here in this case. The next nonimation is guaranteed to be far worse for Dems. They know this but heaven Forbid they take Kavanaugh’s hearings and background seriously.

We are in a moral panic akin to The Crucible, accusations being acted on with zero evidence, zero corroboration. University kangaroo courts bleeding out into the real world. A dangerous time.

Sounds like her accusation needs to be investigated. Why are the Republicans adamant about not investigating these claims via the FBI? Especially if these claims will ultimately bring down the mastermind of the Deep State... non other than all powerful George Soros?

I didn't propose that liars get assaulted, I said they would deserve it if it actually happened, that's not the same thing.

The annoying thing is that Kavanaugh has no baggage, if you look at who made these baseless allegations what they have in common is political motivation to lie and absolutely no evidence of corroboration of their stories. That may be enough to convince someone like you, but you'd be willing to believe literally any story because you want it to be true.

This is Trump's call. Trump may fear that the FBI may be too independent to investigate toward his desired result.

The Senate votes on the nominee. Not the President. If Grassley and co. were serious about giving the accuser at least the same treatment & process that Anita Hill got, they could easily require an FBI investigation. They have the leverage over Trump in this case. Why are they afraid of an FBI investigation, or afraid of Trump being afraid of an FBI investigation?

The obvious answer would probably be they are afraid of a delay that could hold him out of the October hearings on the Supreme Court. There must be something really important they want overturned or something they know will get ruled on in October.

Yes, the obvious answer is that your only goal, and the goal of the Senate Democrats is to delay the process by any means necessary and you know for a fact that FBI investigations into multiple false allegations is a great way to delay the process. You are hoping that they can run the clock out on this nominee in the hopes that the DNC takes back control over the Senate and is able to block the nominee altogether. It's incredibly transparent and it's all part of the "resist" BS....and that's exactly what the women who are making these false allegations are part of as well. They are willing to disgrace themselves, and you're willing to use them.

For once you are right: it's too bad Republicans would rather keep it at the level of accusations and denials instead of spending a few days ascertaining the truth

Again. In Fords case, she can't answer "I dont know" to the time, date and place, then implicate 3 or 4 other people and expect them to fill in the blanks or collaborate her story. Considering the SOL, these people would be a fool to get more involved than needed to an alleged incident w/out a time, date and place. There is nothing to investigate with Ford at this point. Everyone implicated has given their statement and has made it clear they do not wish to be involved further. All they will say is "i am not aware of any incident at this unknown party at an unknown date and time".

I have no opinion on the other allegation. Considering Vegas was expecting another allegation by the end of the week, that should tell you something.

When it comes to the other allegation, when asked about the allegation the co-author of the article said "She came forward because Senate Democrats came looking for this claim" and admits that when she was first contacted, she didn't remember and couldn't say who it was or if it was Kavanaugh, she even asked her friends at the time telling them that she didn't remember but none of them remembered either....but then after 6 days meeting with a DNC provided lawyer, all of a sudden she remembered all sorts of things. Funny how that happens!

because McConnell is calling the shots, the spineless Grassley is just a figure head

    FWIW

    Grassley's Senate Judiciary Committee had brought in Garrett Ventry to help shepherd Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination;
Ventry has resigned amid a past allegation of sexual harassment.
