Did I speak for him or did I accuse him now? Does your reality often change for convenience?

Taking what someone said "literally" is how it works here. I only have people's words to go by.

    What was your previous username?

Still better talking point than "Trump was mean to Cruz's wife", which is all OVER this thread.

The incident about kavanaugh is much longer ago than that and lacks any police report, much less him directly contradicting witnesses on the record in the police report.

Does it really matter? Either way you attributed something towards him that wasnt true.

Dude, cmon now, you really think he's voting for Beto after previously being a volunteer on Cruz's campaign is that he was in a band? This is the type of **** I'm talking about. You arent worried about the truth, you are worried about winning an internet argument.

I thought we were talking about possibly criminal incidents in the past being irrelevant because of time passed.

BTW this isn't a strawman in any way. Probably should have went with whataboutism. That's the go to word when being called out on hypocrisy.

no its not. you just pulled that out of your ass and you know it.

lol...i said no such thing. you made that up too!

this is the quote i said that got you so upset..."betos position on the 2nd amendment and gun control is actually more in line with most americans than ted cruz, who is totally bought and paid for by the NRA, which at this point can only be called an extremist organization."

sorry that hurts you so much, but its the truth. follow the money.

lol...i never claimed it in the first place! you act just like lyin' ted - constantly making things up that people said and then arguing with that. what is wrong with you dude?:D

again, you said "So for me the choice is O'Rourke who speaks about the evils of rifle cartridges used to hunt and target shoot, or a strong advocate with a clear understanding."

as i said, i searched for anything to back up your claim and got zilch so i asked you to show me where he said that and the best you could do was bring up that orourke said a handgun wound is more survivable than a high velocity rifle round...AND YOU SAID AGREED WITH HIM! hahahahaha!

he gave a fact that YOU SAID YOU AGREED WITH. you have totally lost it dude!

An excellent post. I know several people who feel similarly to how you feel about Cruz, and about the political party they used to think represented them, based on it's previous stand on the issues. That political party has disappeared, and any backbone that party had in the Senate died with John McCain. Reagan wouldn't be able to sniff a nomination today. He would be considered too "liberal" for the current version. So those people looked around and figured out that they should give the folks in the other major political party a gander. To their surprise, it fit them far better than the insane crowd led by Mr. trump.

The handling of Judge Merrick Garland by the Republican Senate, a widely praised federal judge that had support across the political spectrum, but not in Mitch McConnell's version of the United States Senate, was shocking to many of them. He was kept stewing by McConnell for a year and wasn't even allowed a hearing. That leads directly to the current confirmation hearing, where information about Kavanaugh is being withheld from members of the Senate Judicial Committee and the public. Why? Kavanaugh lied during his previous confirmation hearing for federal district judge. He lied under oath before Congress, which is a felony, yet this is the "man" trump wants as a member of the highest court in the land.

And some people wonder why trump and the Republican majority in Congress keep seeing their popularity go deeper and deeper in the toilet. Small wonder. They need to be flushed.

Yeah because those guns are so useful against what the government has. So tell me how 2nd amendment provides the ultimate check on government power? lol

I disagree with almost every single point you made. I don't believe women have the right to kill their babies, I don't believe in rewarding someone who has done something wrong, Democrats used fear mongering to convince the gullible that ending net neutrality would raise prices and slow down internet speeds ( it didn't). I believe that the state should decide if they want to legalize mar1juana and I can't support a candidate who wants the government to force people to go against their religion like an authoritarian government. I also don't like Beto's anti police agenda and constant race baiting tactics. These kinds of rhetoric only divides us.

    1. You’ll be pro choice the day you finally get play.

    2. You reward the employers hiring the undocumented employees but letting them skip taxes. The employees will likely not be deported in texas as long as they don’t commit a crime.

    3. Too early to tell. Smarter people than I at my company feared this issue. Luckily we are now a fairly large company going public so it will likely not effect me personally. BUT I hope others in the field have the same opportunities we did.

    4. I can agree here but because of the commerce clause we will likely have to make it a federal decision.

    5. ... and if the religion isn’t Christianity do you feel the same way?

    6. Anti-police rhetoric? Buying into teds BS.

    7. He is pandering, but it may be a necessity because of all the brainwashed republicans in this state that vote straight ticket R even when it doesn’t benefit them.

I don't think you understand. If you think law enforcement isn't infallible, you are anti-police.

Yes and that government was located across the Atlantic Ocean and gave up through a lack of will power to divest resources to maintain a war to keep their colony accross the Atlantic.

Did the government at the time had tanks and other modern weapons? Or are you saying that the 2nd amendment should allow people to have modern weapons to fight the president day government?

And outside of battleships they didn’t have too much of an advantage when it came to weapons.

AR-15 ain’t going to do much against a drone
