Instead of rushing this - we need to let the FBI investigage. Kavanaugh declared under oath he has never commited any kind of sexual harassment - if it indeed was him, then he has committed perjury. This must be investigated and the truth should be found.

Consider that if it is not investigated, half the country will forever seem him as unfit and you will shake the trust of the Public in the SCOTUS.

Already Trump and Republicans have destroyed the FBI. Congress never had trust. The Presidency is soiled. And now the SCOTUS? The last institution that hasn't been pooped on by this President?

Take a few days to preserve the truth and trust. If Kavanaugh is innocent, than an investigation will be positive for him and the country. Why do you oppose that?

This has nothing to do with "skeletons in the closet" this is clearly a new low when it comes to dirty politics. There's no care you can take in nominating someone that will prevent baseless allegations like this. There was a reason why Mitch MCconnell was reluctant with BK. They knew this before hand. There was no reast for Mitch to be hesitant with BK. His record as a judge was standard fair conservative. Obviously some moderates and liberals would not appreciate his record but nothing that the current GOP would be afraid to pass through. Mitch was worried about something else. Now we know what it was. The real question is how did Mitch know before hand?

In all fairness, I doubt MC would EVER allow BK to be nominated if he knew this ahead of time. My understanding is there were so many documents on BK that MC thought he is the hardest to be confirmed among the choices. Of course, we don't know what are all in those docs. And I think their strategy from the get go (once he is the choice) was to hide them.

Not true. Women who would lie about it in an effort to ruin someone's life for political reasons absolutely deserve it, and worse. A lie about something like that is an attack on not just their intended victim, but it's an attack on every woman who has ever actually been sexually assaulted.
