That's a pretty narrow selection criteria. My guess is you voted for trump, and will vote again for trump.
Thanks for the link. I watched the debate and it was a very interesting study in contrasts. Neither candidate hurt themselves and I can definitely see the strengths if both candidates. Cruz showed his strength as a debater and put O’Rourke in the defensive. He kept the focus on his own positions and was sharp in his attacks. O’Rourke held his own but never really seemed to knock Cruz off or put him in the defensive. In terms of charisma though it wasn’t close and the shades of Nixon Kennedy applied very much. Cruz’s look and mannerism just can’t compete. When he left the podium for his closing statement it seemed forced and more like a salesman trying to make a pressure sales. ORourke seems like a natural and the comparisons to RFK seem spot on. I can see why this race is so close. You have an unlikeanle candidate but one who’s issues are more in tune with the overall state and knows how to play those issues while you have another who is very charismatic. I’m not going to predict who will win but if ORourke wins you’re looking at someone who’s going to be on the next Democratic National ticket.
My taxes went down 1%. I don't know about you but 2g is not going to effect my life a lot. I am not making a million bucks so the tax cuts don't help me very much. I guess we have a lot millionaires on this board by how much they are pushing for Trump.
I found him very charsimatic. I can't see any comparison to Gore (or being closer to Gore than Clinton).
Only on TV. I thinlk gore has zero charisma. Bill has a ton. I think Beto is closer to Clinton than Gore.
We'll probably get some people suggesting that the only fair thing to do is to have a national vote for Senators because if you included the California vote, Whitey O'Rourke would have won just like Hillary.
I saw him in person he is not charismatic unfortunately. He's fine; he seems charismatic because Cruz is such proud a-hole.
I think a young, energetic and even charismatic senator representing the state of Texas would be a good thing. Plus I thing O'Rourke has shown a willingness to work with republicans (eg recently a bill with cornyn) to get things done. Heck, I don't think cruz can work with fellow republicans, let alone Democrats...
