playing seemingly wasn't helping much as far as correa to break out of a slump. might as well try a few rest days and go from there.

If Correa is hurt he's not getting better this season, period, it's too late in the year.

However even if his back is bothering him, he shouldn't be this f**king terrible. When he was playing hurt before going on the DL he was performing much better. Giving him some time away from live action and in the video room may be the best hope for some measure of productivity.

If you may have read the article today in The Athletic concerning Carlos, their best guess is that he's never recovered from the back problem.

Hope he can recover fully from whatever is hampering him. I assume that will be next year.

We have got to do better than Davis. Is there a better option?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that either.

They aren't starting Kemp because it's against a lefty, but I would much rather have Kemp or Gattis or even Straw or Tucker if they wanna give PA's to a young guy.

Davis has shown absolutely nothing positive.

Angels are 4-3 in MMP this season. This series is not to be taken lightly.

Hard to believe JD Davis and his .475 OPS are in the lineup when team needs to clinch division. Wow.

790 reports Correa will DNP the entire weekend.

He should've been shutdown 3 weeks ago for a while. Too late now.

All the JD Davis hate in this game thread. I have a feeling he’s going to do something big tonight. The kid can play.

He can play based on what?

He certainly can’t do any worse as an MLB hitter...

Davis has numbers inline with Correa's numbers since coming back. It's a wash... which is pathetic.

Davis, to my memory, has hit ball much harder than an injured Correa. Not sure Davis will ever hit well enough to be a DH/1B, but would much rather have him at the plate than an injured Correa. I'd not right Davis off just yet.
