What kind of man just accepts the comments Trump made about his family then begs his support? True....scary, though, that I am skeptical that Beto will win. I live in the burbs (far west Katy) and my neighborhood FB page is rife with Beto hate. It’s depressing. Nobody seems to care about the character of the cadidate, just the letter to the right of their name. edit - if he does win, I will take several days of vacation to celebrate as I do feel like he is the real deal and that this will be a springboard to better days, even for those that did not vote for him.

And btw, cruz also gets money from out of state... and since a U.S. Senator makes and votes on laws that effect all Americans, I don't have any issue with people from around America being interested in the campaign.

First of all... campaigns cost money. You'll never remove money from campaigns. But... you can lessen the impact of PACs and return the balance towards individual voters by removing PAC money... O'Rourke's campaign is doing that, while cruz prefers the status quo. Second, the "... gets money from Hollywood" is a common dog whistle from the cruz campaign. Don't pretend that wasn't your intention. too. And last... you will vote for cruz... just as you voted for trump. And just as you will again, should he run again.
