Its not... but it wasn't before when trumpsters were touting how popular their choice of kavanaugh was. Again, kavanaugh is tainted, and that will be his legacy. It will be interesting if the entire Roberts court will be tainted...

I'm sure knuckle draggers on the left will say so, but as usual, it'll have nothing to do with reality.

******* that is some grade A internet detective work. I wonder if it's correct. Oh wait I just saw he's a conservative oh well lets run with it.

Also, I'm just gonna stereotype these guys based on how they look. It's ok because I'm white and they are white. They certainly do look similar. I've always thought Kavanaugh didn't look like the rapey type even in high school. He looks like he would kind of be a bit of a p***y around girls (like I was in high school lol). Now this Garrett guy he definitely looks rapey to me. I can definitely see him trying to take advantage of a drunk girl. Mark Judge sounds like he was a total douchebag in HS and still today. So that's my hot take on this internet sleuthing.

It appears good ol' Ed has an active imagination when it comes to developing defense theories for his friend Kavanaugh...

She does not want to testify and it is unlikely that she will. This is just more delaying tactics and slimeball antics by the Democrat left.

Watch her (The Democrats) insist on conditions that they know the Senate Judiciary Committe cannot in good conscience comply with and then refuse to testify under the conditions that the Committee offers.

She's in no position to make demands, if she wants to testify, she can come in on Monday and testify when they have her slotted to testify and face questions from outside counsel. If that's not acceptable to her, then she doesn't want to testify. I mean, you'd think she was a defendant, not an accuser the way she's acting.

I expect the men in this country and the men in this committee because we all signed on to this letter to demand an FBI investigation. But really guess who is perpetuating all of these kinds of actions? It's the men in this country. And I just want to say to the men in this country: just shut up and step up, do the right thing for a change

I'll let you choose whichever response you would like.

    a) Has the lie been proven?
    b) So Trump is a Democrat?
    c) So Kavanagh is a Democrat?
    d) I haven't seen so much cheering, more it has been people just asking for an investigation letting the truth, whatever it may be, come out with the investigation.
    e) all of the above

The Senate is not qualified with criminal experts to even frame the questioning. She was right to ask for the FBI investigation. Kavanagh is at the White House preparing for the questioning. This woman has no government folks prepping her for the questions. She deserves some time prepare just like Kavanagh.

Nope, hasn't been proven, but you'd have to be INSANELY naive to buy that story.

He was for nearly his entire life.

Non sequitur, he hasn't been shown to have lied.

There has been no interest in the truth, they know her story isn't credible, they are only interested in delaying the confirmation by any means necessary and it's VERY obvious.

I'm just saying Trump and Kavanagh have both said things that were proven to be lies.
He is currently the leader of the Republican party.

    You are wrong, sir.

Your judgment for what is or isn't credible is shown to be lacking.

Yeah but that's what you've got, "criminal experts" would dismiss her story out of hand. The only people interested in her story on any level is the Senate.

She can ask for anything she wants, but her baseless allegation doesn't entitle her to waste the FBI's time.

You can bet she's been being prepped for the questions for days now.

I know about Trump, and I've heard the DNC spin about Kavanaugh, but it doesn't seem to be based in reality.

I understand that's your belief, but is it tied to reality? I'm not so sure.

It's not merely my judgement, if her story was deemed to be credible, there would be a criminal investigation as a result of her allegations. Basically the only people on the planet that believe her baseless allegations are "credible" are the most biased of partisans.

She is not going to testify, but I read earlier that the Judiciary Committee is working to bring in a criminal attorney to conduct the questioning for the Republicans, if she did actually agree to testify.

And that's why the DNC politicians that control her don't want her to testify. They only want her to testify if they can potentially use it against the senators who ask her questions. They don't want an outside person asking the questions because it's worthless to them and it'll almost certainly trip up Ford and make her story seem even more flimsy than it does naturally.

I think her DNC handlers get her to not testify and roll the dice with trying to play the Kavanaugh confirmation against the Republicans.

In fact, here is the link:

    https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/sep/20/judiciary-committee-eyes-independent-lawyer-conduc/

It does not say so in the article, but the attorney they hire will be a woman. Book it.

She is not going to testify and positively everyone involved in these discussions between her lawyer and the Judiciary Committee knows it.

It also says that she's flatly rejected showing up to testify on Monday so IMO that should be the end of it. She doesn't want to testify, there's literally nothing to support her BS claim, time to move on with the confirmation.
