It does seem like a cheapshot and a distraction. The funny thing is -- even though I'd never vote for Cruz anyway -- it is actually meaningful to me. When Cruz lost to Trump for the candidacy but refused to endorse him, I was finally a tiny little bit proud of him. I thought (and may have even posted) that his stubbornness and his ideological absolutism would finally lead him to do something noble -- refuse to endorse his party's candidate because he was the wrong candidate. So I was actually, genuinely disappointed in him when he bowed down along with the rest of the Republican party and let Trump take it into populist waters. I don't like him from a values and policy perspective, but there had been a glimmer of hope that I could respect him as a leader of true conservatism. Endorsing Trump, and now seeking Trump's endorsement, really dashed that. The upshot is now I can go back to entirely hating him as a Senator.
...I'd be even more shocked if ICE detained them at the border or separated their families or jailed them...
So much idiocy and blatant racism in one post. Really quite impressive. I'll let the Syrian refugee I met the other night who just loves this country and the opportunities it's provided for him and his family know that he should go back (to his home that no longer exists) because he's from an inhospitable country.
Very good. I'm glad that the union was able to help. Excellent. I've been a part of 3 unions in my life. One was only about 30% helpful and 40% wasteful and 30% in between. The other was about 70% helpful, 20% wasteful and 10% in between. The teachers Union I'm with now is easily the best of the three. It is about 85% helpful 5% wasteful and 10% in between. It sucks when Principal's don't stand behind their teachers. That is BS. Luckily the Union was able to help get a successful resolution for your wife.
Huh?? That would be an issue between trump and cruz. Both seem to be cut from the same cloth in my opinion.
"I am not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my father. That pledge was not a blanket commitment that if you go and slander my wife that I am going to come like a servile puppy dog for maligning my wife and maligning my father."
you posted a tweet that claims that Cruz complains about Beto has no substance and I responded by saying Beto supporters are making the same talking point over and over again.
OK, and what diod that have to do with trump insulting cruz's wife? The tweet you are referring to is belittling the things cruz is floating out there. Most of which is simply made up fluff. But still don't know what that has to do with trump insulting cruz's wife?
Serious question -- at what point is it incumbent upon citizens from other nations to stay in those nations, and work and yes possibly fight to make them better places to live?
