Didnt know you were a mind reader. You should stop posting questions and just read our minds

Yes or are you claiming the 65 women found themselves within 24hrs, came together and wrote a letter to defend him?

The GOP can confirm him if they want - they have the votes to do so. So stop using that as an excuse.

The allegations are credible, and while there may be no other witness to the event, it does not mean any of the said parties did not recount the event to others e.g. se told her therapsit.

But like I said earlier, you really dont care if the woman was sexually assaulted or not. All you care about is getting kavanaugh confirmed by any means necessary

far from "highly credible", this is the dictionary definition of a baseless accusation

    • zero corroboration
    • zero physical evidence
    • no accusations of similar incidents/pattern of behavior
    • no other testimonials of poor character (quite the opposite)
    • impossible to disprove
    • happened decades ago yet we are expected to take memories credibly
    • intentionally withheld from Senate, then dropped at 11th hour after accused has already testified
    • accuser has ties to Democrats

on the accuser's side of the credibility ledger:
    • claims to have passed a polygraph (polygraphs are highly suspect, why they aren't admissible in court)
    • psychiatrist notes from a few years ago that don't mention Kavenaugh by name

the only way the accusation could be less credible is if there were documentation that proved Kavanaugh wasn't there at the time of the alleged incident

If this is all there is to go on, one cannot credibly believe/disbelieve the accounts of two people you've never met.

If this works (and it might, must be hell on Kavanaugh's family and he might withdraw), all future GOP nominees will likely be women. Which means the playbook will be to accuse them or racism/homophobia instead of being a rapist.

And they will, like I said, the reason you are hyping this up is that you want to use it as a wedge issue to try and save the blue splash.

As to the woman, if she wants to testify in front of congress in order to tell her story, I'd let her do that, but everything about her story sounds like BS and it would set a ridiculous precedent if we started pulling nominations over unverified, unverifiable single party accusations.....and you'd agree if things were different.

They couldn't be any more transparent with this and it's absolutely pathetic.

Which is why they'll be forced to just move ahead with the process like adults and let the Democrats whine and complain hoping that it'll win them some votes.

An independent investigation is the most fair path for all parties involved.

Why are you trying to hard to defend this potential rapist before an investigation?

Sounds like you don't care about someone being a rapist so long as they are a right-wing conservative about to be appointed to the SCOTUS. Sounds like if this was a democrat you would be screaming blood hell my man. That or you are one of those guys who think women saying they were raped years after it happened are all lying.

Sadly you may have a legitimate point, if only we weren't in the post Benghazi world.

No, just the longest path. We could always find a middle ground, the woman comes to tell her side of the story, Kavanaugh tells his side of the story, then they vote for confirmation. After he's put on the bench the FBI or whoever can continue their investigation and if they find evidence of him being guilty of attempted rape, he can be impeached.

That's win/win, you get your investigation but it happens without the obstructionism.

In the wake of Kavanaugh's accuser,Christine Blasey Ford, a professor in California, coming forward publicly,

Republican senators weigh in on delaying Kavanaugh vote

Sens. Jeff Flake and Bob Corker both say the Senate Judiciary Committee should not vote on Kavanaugh's nomination until they talk to Ford and Sen. Lisa Murkowski said the committee might have to consider delaying the vote, according to reporting by CNN and other news organizations.

Another GOP senator, Lindsay Graham, said that he'd be willing to hear what Ford has to say.

Doesn't provide motive as the plaintiff motions to dismiss and that is granted by the judge.
I'm no lawyer but neither is the Tweeter user you reference.

This doesn't seem very difficult to get to the bottom of.

I'm sure the media will unravel this mystery well enough if you give it some time.

No need to wait for the FBI investigation.

It's funny that there are 65 women that knew this guy in all boy high school. I knew like 5 closely in my coed high school - and I doubt they would care to attest to my upstanding character cause they are all over the world and/or lost touch.

65 just sounds ridiculous to me - did they have face book back then? They didn't even have cell phones. What a load of crap. The PR people certainly came to play for this Kavanaugh guy.

IIRC Clarence Thomas never took no lie detector test. BK likely will not as well.

Sen. Collins and Murkowski must be under exponentially more pressure to vote for BK now.

    We will see.
