If you don’t like this tactic, get used to it. It’s just a continuing of the political game the GOP started. That’s what happen when you ignore norm. And oh, if you were ok with what the GOP did, you got nothing to stand on complaining about this.

You get that the voters don't get to nominate and approve Supreme Court justices...right? You see the extremely obvious and huge difference?

No, it's really not that at all, it's a scumbag desperation tactic by pathetic losers throwing a tantrum due to not getting their way and having their dreams of stripping rights from the people in order to fulfill their political agenda die. It's okay though, people are used to the left being like this, it's barely newsworthy.

Also, what are you talking about when you say "what the GOP did"? Are you still b****ing about Garland? You do understand there was really nothing abnormal about that right? When you nominate someone the Senate finds unacceptable, you don't get that justice on the bench. That's all that happened.

Kavanaugh accuser comes forward with story of violent rape attempt

The woman who wrote a letter accusing Trump Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault is now coming forward, motivated by the publicizing of her original letter and by a "civic responsibility" to tell the story. Her account is harrowing.

Her account of the "rape attempt" is backed up by therapist's notes dating from 2012-2013; she also passed a polygraph test administered by a former FBI agent. While she strongly wished to retain her privacy, she reversed course after contacts with reporters and public reports of her letter led her to believe she would possibly be exposed anyway.

The woman, Christine Ford, directly identifies Kavanaugh classmate Mark Judge as a witness to the event–notable because Judge declared in an interview only days ago that "I never saw Brett act that way." Judge did not respond to the Washington Post's requests for comment. Kavanaugh himself “categorically and unequivocally” denied the allegation last week; he will now be called upon to further explain himself.

Republicans fell right into this trap - hard to believe they couldn't figure out that the dems vetted her thoroughly before forwarding this to the FBI.

This is the weirdo allegedly in the room with Kavanaugh that night.

The beauty of "uncontrollable male passion."

    Oof.

Well there is actually a third option.

Waiting to vet the accusation, like a responsible person.

That's the way you vet an accusation. By not giving it to authorities or the public. Feinstein probably used her own crack detective skillz.

larsv8 definition of responsible: somebody says they were raped so sit on it for a couple of months doing your own investigation before handing it to the police.

This is about as irresponsible as you can possibly be with the information Feinstein was given.

    Boo ****ing hoo.

The GOP chose to have a rushed nomination process, and they reap what they sow.

They have forfeited the right to have any courtesy shown to them or the process.

You called Feinstein's actions 'responsible'. So what you are saying is that it was responsible for Feinstein to not go to the authorities with this rape charge months ago when she received the letter because the 'GOP chose a rushed nomination process'?

    100% rational .

After sitting on it for months. which is what i wrote.

Knew what? What Kavanaugh allegedly did 40 years ago at a house party? Smear campaign by Democrats who are so desperate that they pull this kind of stunt. I'm pretty sure the FBI has already said they're not going to investigate.
