They need a TD on this drive, but those penalties (discipline, poor coaching) set them back to where it's unlikely.

Yes coaching is an issue, but you can’t just blame coaching for stupid decision making by Watson either, he looks like a rookie period.
Some of it is coaching, it's on the coaches to get him prepared and they opted to have him sit out of preseason for the most part when he could have gotten valuable snaps. It's not completely on the coaches, so you are right, but IMO the coaches set him up to fail.....and that's what he's doing right now.
The problem with this team is definitely coaching. A less talented team is currently kicking the Texans ass and even though it's the first half with a 14 point deficit it already feels like the game is over.
If the Texan's special teams are on the field, the refs can throw a flag, even before the kick. There is going to be a penalty. No matter who is coaching, there is going to be a penalty.
Mahomes is also good. I watched every game he played at Texas Tech. Mahomes is the reason Mayfield got a Heisman and was the number one pick. If Mahomes didn't beat Mayfield out for the Job at Texas Tech, Mayfield would have never left Lubbock and would have been a nobody.
