They were forced to interview 65 witnesses to defend him against an alleged sexual assault in his past. He has clear financial liabilities. He has lied under oath five times and that can be used against him in the future, if not now. We don't see red flags like this. Gorsuch is an *******, but had a clean background. There were many others like Gorsuch to choose from.

Why nominate Kavanaugh? Why do they need this specific (badly damaged) nominee so badly?

It's reality and Kavanaugh must be stopped for the good of America. Trump is clearly setting himself up to expand his executive powers so that no one will be able to stop him near the end of his term. He will be able to establish the fascist structure that you have warned us against. Once this is done he will have control and democracy will be dead. I live everyday in fear of this now.
