JD Davis is a perfect example of a AAAA player. Great in the minors and utter garbage with the big club.
Hopefully this awful loss and the A's winning lights another fire up the offense's ass and we win next 2 games.
Springer got hurt on that dive, and as we were tunning out of replacements, he was like our only option left. we needed a little more outfield depth. Correa had a hit and a walk, but also had the GIDP that kept us to only two runs when we should have gotten more. Guess I'm vindicated for advocating a Tucker or Straw call up, or trying to trade for Jones, Granderson (or even Smoak, though he's not an OF). We needed an extra bat. #327Knows
Springer had his weekly injury when he dove for that ball in the 8th. Davis went in for defense in the 9th.
Correa is hitting .163 with a .469 OPS (yes OPS) since coming back from his injury. We really need him to start doing something
Their bullpen out performed ours tonight. For how talented our pen is, it sure feels like when it becomes a battle of pens throwing up āā0āsā we sure seem to lose a lot.
I love Reddick's intangibles, and his defense, but he is not worth what we're paying him, that's for sure.
