It always amazes me Trout's only 27. It feels like he's been around and one of the best in the game... forever.

I guess you can say “so what” to anything. Good point.

Making people say what they actually mean is a shocking development, I know.

But to your question, NO, in no world is Bregman as good a player as Trout.

    Carry on now.

Where did i say he was? I didn’t even ASK if he was. You should read my post again, as you clearly misunderstood the main part of it. I had already said what I meant, looks like you just didn’t read my question carefully enough. At least be halfway decent at snark if you’re gonna resort to it so much.

I am guilty as well. I would have traded Bregman for Sale straight up, but with the benefit of hindsight, I am glad that we did not.

But Sale has been one of the best pitchers in the game since that trade, it would not have been the end of the world if we made that trade.

But just to reiterate, I am very glad that Bregman suits up for the good guys.

Luhnow and Morey are great. Smith, no. Honestly, I love how in Houston the Astros and Rockets are eclipsing the Texans. Kind of want it to stay that way. Astros and Rockets are run FAR more competently, have likeable coaches, and have actually played in two different millennia. And their names actually pay homage to our unique space history and aren't super overly generic.

Pretty much when you said this:

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...n-of-trade-rumors.284048/page-8#post-11951938

We may have misconstrued each other, or been talking past the other, or whatever, but that's what I was responding to initially.

    I love all Houston teams.

You do know the Texans might be on to a great run if Watson fulfills his hype?

Yeah. I asked if he would ever be as good as trout, meaning that he wasn’t presently as good as Trout. Your response was as if I were asking if Bregs was as good right now.

I LOVE Houston, I just love MLB, NBA, and NCAAF more.
Astros, Rockets, Texans. One is not like the other. Should have been named Apollos. Also, wish the Astros put a minor league team in Beaumont and named them the Oilers (or the Rockets' Rio Grande Team was moved there, that works) to say F **** you Bud Adams.

Soo... has Bregs replaced Sean Berry as the paramount Killer B at 3B?

Bagwell was supposed to be a 3B but due to arm strength I guess was moved to 1B and the rest is history.

And Luis Gonzalez was moved from 3b to OF because of Caminiti.

That 1990s squad that had so much talent in majors, minors, Bad trades destroyed the Outfield Speed
CF Kenny Lofton, Steve Finley, Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Ken Caminitti, Luis Gonzalez, Curt Schilling, Mike Scott

Help on the Way 1994 -Billy Wagner, Mike Hampton, Jose Lima, Shane Reynolds 1997 Bobby Abreu, Richard Hidalgo, 2001 Roy Oswalt, Johan Santana, Wade Miller, Brad Lidge

This Front Office would've kept both Centerfielders in Kenny Lofton and Steve Finley and Put Steve in RF
Wish the Astros would've kept them all, Owners were cheap too.
Learned a lot from the Front Office 3 CFs , SS, 2B,3B speed and High Contact, With Some Power
