So the idiots who don’t support Trump support Krapernick? Pretty telling of the unhinged TDS movement.

General Mattis -"He has the understanding of a 5th or 6th grader".

Is he displaying symptoms of TDS?

Because I would imagine a 5th grader managing the world's largest bureaucracy and commanding the world's most powerful military is pretty unnerving.

You aren't an idiot if you think Kap is unAmerocan and a "bad" person for protesting what he percieves to be a major issue in the United States by taking a knee during the national anthem. I just lose respect for you as a human and it's rightfully deserved in my opinion.

When someone refuses to see any humanity in a person because they don't remove their cap when the anthem is playing, or put their hand on their heart when the anthem is playing or stand and recite the pledge of allegiance, I believe that is enough for me to lose respect in an individual because of how easy of a bar it is for them to lose empathy for another human.

LOL....Conservatives are greedy. When the Stock goes down a few more points, they will buy and the stock will be back up to pre-boycott levels soon after. Green is more important to them than Red, White, Or Blue.

This guy is a dumbass. Only someone who has no clue how stock valuation works would post this tweet, or believe it.

Wall Street Journal article today on the Nike campaign and questions about Nike's relationship with the NFL:

"Now Nike faces questions on two fronts: whether its reinvigorated partnership with one of the most controversial figures in sports will prove fruitful; and how this move will affect its relationship with the NFL. While Nike is one of the NFL’s biggest partners with a reported billion-dollar deal that was extended in the spring, the league is engaged in a high-profile legal battle with Mr. Kaepernick, who has filed a grievance alleging that he has been effectively blackballed from signing with a team because of his political views.

“ 'Although the company’s stand may go down well on its native West Coast, it will be far less welcome in many other locations,' Neil Saunders, managing director of GlobalData Retail, wrote in a research note, adding that the brand 'cannot afford to make bad decisions' in a highly competitive sports market."

This may or may not work out for Nike's business, but I am 99.99999% certain that Nike did plenty of homework (polls, focus groups, analytics and whatever else they have money to do) before making the decision on this ad campaign. I don't think anything that's happening now is very surprising to Nike's decision maker.
