[OTB] Bob Woodward’s New Book To Detail Explosive Accusations About Trump White House

He is comparing the stupid ass hype behind the other two and their baseless allegations

I mean the Sunday Morning Talk shows thinking the Omarosa crap was real.

 

There is a taped phone call between Woodward and President Trump that has been released, Woodward calls to let Trump know that he tried to reach him directly for comment before the book was published. He apparently had lunch with Kellyanne Conway to discuss the possibility of talking to Trump. Kellyanne walks in during the call. I'm sure folks will react differently, but it was a painful conversation for me.

What has been disclosed? That's what I was asking in the comment you are replying to. What have they said that is terribly new or interesting?

- Trump's former personal lawyer John Dowd describes the President as "a ****ing liar,"
- "He's an idiot. It's pointless to try to convince him of anything. He's gone off the rails. We're in crazytown," Kelly is quoted as saying at a staff meeting in his office.

Do you think the above accounts are accurate?

 

Yeah probably, it's why I didn't vote for him.....but it's not really anything new or terribly interesting.

 

Trump’s base is way beyond the point of buyer’s remorse. Now they are solidly into Battered Wife territory. No matter how attractive she looks, you won’t be able to bring her to the women’s shelter. Sorry

 

It is interesting that it isn't people who are opposing the president who say these things, it's the people who are on his staff and his appointees. That hasn't happened before with a president in my lifetime, if ever. That is on just a surface level.

 

If those comments are true, do you think Trump's judgement can be trusted?

 

It's refreshing honesty rarely seen from those types of people while the president is still in office. You usually only hear these kinds of things decades later.

I never trusted him, but I didn't trust previous presidents either. In the end all you can judge them by is their results and as of now his results aren't that bad.

Lucky for Trump that gross incompetence and being an idiot aren't grounds for impeachment.

On the book, could be a good thing. This is exactly the type of chaos I was hoping for. I hope there's substance and not just gossip level reporting.
