Correct... would have guessed the four that normally come up: Gurley, Bell, Johnson, Elliot. Then Brown and Kamara in either order. Kamara's expected boost while Ingram is away and questions about Bell's arrival... plus DAL offense and OL and questions about ARI could actually move Kamara up into the top 4 I guess.

Good start @david_rocket and good luck with the rest of your draft and season.

Great team... especially in a 12 team.

Our teams are very similar. When you consider 12vs14 teams. How did Kerryon Johnson go so late though? It doesn’t really make sense to me.

Probably because the Lions haven't run the ball in a decade.

I don't like Johnson in standard much. Blount is going to get all the GL work. Basically the only reason he exists.

I’m pretty sure I’ve read Blount ran 18 times last season in the red zone and got 1 td.

Which means Johnson will be a top 5 rb in football after week 4. I know this because I am a fantasy god in football and in the bedroom for the ladies.

I will be shocked if he scores more than 5 TDs all year.

Would you drop any of the following for James Connor or Corey Clement?

BN: Eifert, Goodwin, Keelan Cole, Chris Carson, Jamaal Williams

Standard scoring. My RBs are weak and I think I need to start gambling on some of these lotto tickets.

Maybe I am missing something... you would drop known starters for a handcuff that *might* start if Bell doesn't show up this week? Or a backup RB that *might* start if Ajayi is unable to play Thursday Night.

That would be gambling on really long odds.

That’s the problem. I am tempted on gambling on these handcuffs because I don’t think my WRs on the bench would start over the ones I currently have in my lineup. I got Edelman too. Decisions decisions.

My RB1/2 are: Collins and Ajayi. Derrick Henry is my Flex. Not entierely optimistic about any of them given what I’ve researched so far.

Well my 3rd (2nd for money) ended up with these running backs:

    David Johnson
    Melvin Gordon
    DeVonata Freeman
    Mark Ingram
    Jamaal Williams

    Other players are:
    Cam Newton
    Chris Hogan
    Josh Gordon
    Corey Davis
    Trey Burton
    Jax Defense
    Greg Zurelien
    Matt Stafford
    Devante Parker
    George Kittle
    David Njoku

    It's a 10 team ppr league.

I feel like it's a good team. But ya never know.

You should not burn your waiver priority second guessing your draft. Unless you get Breida, Morris etc.

I read something similar about Blount’s goal line issues. I’m not sure if its going to be the same in Detroit, but everyone is expecting Blount to be the goal line back this year. And that’s why he was drafted 3 rounds earlier than Kerryon in my league.

Hopefully Kerryon can do more with his opportunity than Abdullah did, but it looks like it may take a few weeks before we know for sure...

I feel like he is in the Chris Carson, Peyton Barber range at the moment. While those guys are viewed as nothing special but volume is king types.

I don't know what the regime will change, but Blount worries me in standard and Theo Riddick worries me in PPR.

For sure. There are concerns. He will have to make plays like the second one in this video. He was selected in the top half of the second round and will have to be good to take over and be worth playing anyways. It's what makes fantasy interesting ;)

I have Kerryon Johnson on my roster (drafted 8.2) and was really excited about his chances to start and be DET every down back. Was disappointed to see them announce Blount as the starter, but I guess Patricia is looking at the stable vet who ran with NE a few years ago. The OC just said something like they would play Kerryon and he would have to earn more playing time on the field. Would have preferred them coming to their senses like DEN did with Freeman but guessing the RBBC philosophy is harder to break in DET.

In fairness... Johnson doesn't have the explosive speed like Barkley, Michel, or even Freeman. Hopefully he will break a long one off and DET will move him into the 2 down and even 3 down role.

Thanks Moe. Actually, Breida is available right now in the FA pool. I am having doubts on whether he gets the volume and opportunity to warrant dropping any of my guys right now. Morris should be getting the bulk of the carries, right?

Seems like the best thing to do now is to stand PAT and try to package one of my WRs and Edelman for an upgrade in RB or TE.

Is Peyton Barber on waivers still? He should be a decent weekly starter.
