Great choice... those last 3 innings of sheer dominance in game 7 make him an Astro legend.

Will be hard to think about 2017 without thinking about him on the mound getting the last few outs and just cruising to the finish line.

Bregman. He's built on top of his postseason success and is doing better than I coulda imagined this season. His game is big.

Dont know that i can say the same for Springer, Altuve, Correa right now. All 3 seem like they're trying too hard, or swinging for the fences. When all we need is a base knock just over the infielder's head. They're not locked in like Bregman right now.

Charlie ****ing Morton, when he's on, same with Cole and JV, but mostly CFM.

Joe Smith is a wizard against certain RHB, they look like children and can't even see what he's throwing.

Of course, Bregman, but that's lazy.

Could be 1 of Altuve, Correa, Bregman, or Springer but I voted for Altuve.

From the minor league system, Martin and Whitley because I collect cards and ended up collecting those 2.

Favorite position player: Either Altuve or Bregman. Altuve for now, though it's a tough one (picked him because he's been here longer).
Favorite pitcher: Cole by far. Always been impressed with his stuff, last offseason when everybody wanted to go after Archer I firmly wanted Cole instead, SO happy that's how things worked out.

    That's my vote.

Probably because he's been subpar (by his standard) all season.

Springer needs doing better too. Great game today, though. Maybe a positive omen.

Voted Altuve. Springer is probably next.

Both could do better, namely Springtime. Do that.

Charlie Morton. I’m also that dude that’s quiet and on the sidelines while everyone else is joking around.

Agree on Tony Kemp. Not only contributing with bat and glove, but seems a great dugout guy. Started the "Hugs for HRs" and always seems to be front and center in "Dugout Stares".

Today it's Tyler White. I reserve the right to change it on a day to day basis.

Bregman. Dude is so fun to watch, not just his physical ability, but also his love for the game, and his antics.

Todd Kalas. I used to not watch blowouts at the Astros, but I like my ears when I hear him. I hope he is here to stay for a while. He needs a career contract.

    1. Colin McHugh - seems like a chill dude that I would want to be friends with. Reads books. Had a good tweet about Gallo and the Big Donkey my Ranger friend fan showed me. He also didn't complain when moved to bullpen. Astros tenure.
    2. Tony Kemp - I like his game, energy, and OBP in the nine hole
    3. Charlie Morton - I thought he was going to be a big douche when I saw his Phillies picture, but he's probably the most genuine down to earth guy on the team. Also, Game 7.
    4. I voted for Bregman though because when he steps in the box, I always feel like he can make something happen. No moment is too big for him. He's our MVP this year. Non-Astros fans hate him for obvious reasons, but that's why I like him!

I like the old fashioned approach of Evan Gattis at the plate. No gloves, armor, or pine tar. The dude just grabs a handful of dirt. I like to think that's how I would have done it, if I made it to the big leagues. Unfortunately, my baseball career was cut short when my mom took me out of little league to learn Hebrew for my Bar Mitzvah. I'm still bitter about it.

Luckily my mom just expected me to keep up my studies and my soccer. I got to where I could perform my entire service in under 5 min with no mistakes.

My mom's best friend lives in Albuquerque, and she knows the mohel* that performed his bris*. So I got that going for me.

    *Gentile translation:
    Bris/Brit Milah = circumcision
    Mohel = pecker carver
