I remember when they casted McCain as a senile warmonger with anger management issues in 2008

 

It is really embarrassing how democrats are using the death of a good person to take shots at Trump. This is how people like Trump were voted in in the first place. Trump does not need to be mentioned in this thread, nor should you be seeking his validation on the deaht of this man to feel better about yourself. Any kind of statement from him does not diminish or greaten McCain's legacy. This is basic life 101.

 

I am not sure if Meghan is a democrat. But I am sure she's not embarrassed.

 

It’s really embarrassing that Trumpists take anything about anti corruption, bi partisan work to bring people together, and truth as a shot at Trump. It’s a clear admission that they obviously think he embodies all of these things if they do easily link the mention of these negative qualities to him.

I said days ago that the media and everyone from my tribe should not allow the death of McCain to be all about Trump and actually it has been better than I expected but there is still some conversation about Trump golfing, etc. but you are kinda doing exactly what you are accusing other people of doing in reality by invoking Trump in the conversation by bringing it up.

These opinions are normal in that there are always different opinions.

 

Theory of relativity is sometime hard to understand, but when one person is so far nutty, it's easy to see the difference.

I don't see that author celebrating his death, just disagreeing on the portrait of the man. There's a difference between celebrating someone's death and criticizing the man.

 

Hate to break it to you, but a lot of those people taking shots at Trump are Republicans, not Democrats.

I guess time will tell if this comparison/analysis holds up or not. And don't really agree with the claim that McCain's funeral was an "orgy of Trump-bashing."

Things that McCain stood for, was honored for and is being remembered for seems to be things that bother Trump and his supporters. I don't recall Trump being mentioned very much at all at the funeral. Many people did mention how McCain put country above himself and his personal interests, above loyalty to a party, and how those values have been lacking lately.

Like the tweet mentioned when those things bother Trump and bother many of his supporters what does that say about them and their political philosophy.
