Fortunately he progressed as the season went on and got better when he had space. But I still seem to remember a lot of missed bunnies. Chris Paul and Trevor Ariza shot over 61% at the rim. Tucker was 52%. Ryan Anderson shot 62% at the rim. I guess it's the 10% that drove me nuts. He's the only Rox rotation player I can find that shot under 60% at the rim, and he was 8 points under, even including Mbah A Moute and Joe Johnson. (No wait - i just found the other one - Gerald Green at 52%. Ouch.) Glad to have him though, don't get me wrong. I guess I'm biased about the shots that I remember.
I’m almost positive that Capela was an 86 at the end of last season....I’m curious as to how dominating 2 of the best centers in the league (Gobert and KAT) and playing a huge role against one of the best teams ever assembled results in a 2 point drop in his overall rating. 79 for Melo is disrespectful as hell too, but I have zero doubt that he will be back in the low to mid 80’s by the all star break.
This. Go check how high KAT and Gobert rankings are. When Dwight left, they had us out of the top 8 in the West because Harden isn't good enough on his own. When we showed Harden's team wins against Westbrook's they just say "snipers". We added CP and they said it wouldn't work with 2 ball handlers. Lets see how they do it this year.

He was. Capela was at 86. But, TBH in the playoffs he was playing at an 86 level. A higher level than his regular season. I don't have a problem with them adjusting down to 84 to start the season. He could always rise.
