Beto’s beliefs on issues such as immigration are so disturbing that many of his supporters can only say is that he is “nice” and “polite”. These also happen to be the exact opposite words chosen by the motorist present at Beto’s careless DUI car crash. Don’t let this man behind the wheel of our great state!
No, and you are completely wrong, as usual. I know it is strange to you that people think differently, but we do. Win or lose, it doesn't depend on "out of state" money. It may just be that people in Texas don't like you and yours.
We are a race now? Does this mean I'm mixed race because I'm Scottish and Irish? And I laughed at the comment fwiw.
Here is what he says from his platform on his website _____________________ Much of our strength, success, and security as a state and as a country depends on the immigrants who contribute to our society as together we build the American Dream. Any honest immigration reform must reflect the value of immigrants, refugees, and asylum-seekers by providing a path to work, family reunification and citizenship. At a time when the border with Mexico has never been safer, and when we’ve never spent so much on border security, the surest way to improve safety and security is not to build a wall or spend billions more, but to ensure that we are maximizing the potential from everyone in this state, treating each other with respect and dignity. Here’s how we do that: End the militarization of our immigration enforcement system, and close private immigration prisons and detention centers that profit from locking up families. Pass the DREAM Act and ensure that undocumented immigrants who were brought here as children, known as ‘Dreamers’, find a permanent home and citizenship in the U.S. Ensure that those who come to our borders seeking refuge from violence and persecution are given a fair opportunity to present their claims and guaranteed due process under our laws. Improve the immigration system to encourage and facilitate family reunification, education, and the investment of talent in our country. Modernize the visa system to allow U.S. employers to find workers for jobs that American workers can’t fill. Reform our immigration laws to legalize the status of millions of immigrants already in our country and ensure a fair path to citizenship for those inspired by the opportunity and ideals that we present to the rest of the world. I can't say I really disagree with much. I don't think the massive number of illegals here should necessarily be given citizenship, but legal resident status would be good and I think a fair and reasonable compromise. I think it is a slap in the face to people who obeyed the laws and came here legally to grant citizenship to people who didn't. I really get annoyed with how the Democrats have termed illegal immigrants as simply immigrants as well. Anyhow, I think legal immigration and work visas should be greatly expanded.
A racist stereotyping a group of people from a certain religion, race or country in a derogatory way is not surprising.
Just call it a stereotype. There's no reason to call it racist. It devalues the word when it's thrown around so carelessly imo.
A racist using a stereotype to demean someone he doesn’t like isn’t out of the ordinary is all I’m saying. Can’t deny the two can easily go together.
The signs were showing to be $10 ea, $4 for the coozie. Then an additional $17 for shipping...so I guess it was $41 because I doubt it costs anywhere near that much to ship.
My sign one cent, tax was 91 cents, and ... and the shipping & handling was $10.99. Through Nakatomi Inc.
I agree it is an easy choice. I’m voting for guy that didn’t bend over backwards for the guy that completely dragged his him and his family through the mud throughout the primaries. If he didn’t stand up for his family, he surely won’t stand up for Texas. Don’t mess this up and vote for fraud claiming to be a member of the party of “family values”.
More like a scumbag fraud vs an honest decent man. Should be an easy choice but it’s not because tribalism.
