Chriss's dumbass has a lot of Harden hating tweets that his social team is probably deleting. Gonna take a lot for him to get in my good graces.
You remember that we used to have #1' #5 at the same time, right? Just kidding, hope he turn out useful
He has developed a consistent 3 and he can cover for lots of defensive mistakes with his length. I’m not vying for him to replace Capela, but he fits better in a second unit including old CP and Melo
Consensus is the Rockets won this trade. It's essentially teams swapping dead weight and one promising rookie. The difference is that the Rockets have a much higher chance of squeezing productivity out of the Suns dead weight than vice versa. Knight and Chriss are worthwhile reclamation projects at positions of need. Ryno is not.
why did Morey trade for a bum and a bust? we're just head further and further away from competing against the warriors this year. Better pray both Harden and CP3 have a playoff series of their lifetime while CP3 doesn't get hurt.
Ryan Anderson once averaged 17-19 ppg also. Advanced metrics are not on this guys side, but hey, I am up for it so meh. We'll see. He's cheaper and probably more tradeable later down the line
I don't know much about Marquese Chriss. Only saw him when we played the Suns. Liked his game. How is he? He was a lottery pick and still a baby
People have to understand that will all the names floating around through Codman and other sources we had hoped for at least a guy who is a guaranteed rotational player. In terms of contracts and money it’s a miracle and very solid deal. Ryno needed to be traded now, no way you keep a guy on your team who refused to shoot or was so terrified/ affected by the injuries. I still don’t like the deal in terms of players we got, but Ryno was deadweight so we gained something. Melton gone is a bonus.
Yeah, but Suns had him for two years. Rarely a certified garbage turns into a gem in this league. They had a good look at him not just in game, practice, travel, etc.
