It’s non stop unhinged derangement that reaches lows that you thought were unreachable, nothing is beneath them.
I think the majority of Americans just roll thier eyes these days when they here calls of 'racism'. The Carl Herreras of this world have destroyed any meaning the word once had. Boy who cried wolf and what not.
He may have or he may not have meant it to be a racist remark but as someone running for Gov of FL he has to be smarter than that to use a word that has been used some many times to describe a black man he needs to use that thing on his shoulders for something more than a hat rack.
Coming from someone who created a thread entitled: Another Day Another Uneducated Angry White Trumpanzee I'll just let you take the lead on that one. Racist.
“Articulate”.... “monkey it up”..... okay, well this isn’t this candidates first controversial issue with race. Still, everyone can draw their own conclusion and let’s see if Florida wants a Trumpophile that has the intelligence of a gnat and really dislikes minorities or the black socialist from Tallahassee.
Yes, it's not the racists that are racist, it's the people pointing them out that are racist. You have all the standard Trumpanzeeisms down pat. Nice job.
Yes, you are the sole determiner of who is racist here. Got it. Meanwhile, I'll just stick with the fact you don't see anyone else here creating a term like "Trumpanzee". Just you.
The thread is 81 pages long, soooo... yeah, seems there's significant agreement on the phenomenon. As much as I'd like to take credit for the creativity of the term, it's actually quite pervasive off of bull**** mountain. Trumpanzee A fully respecting, unquestioning, loyal republican to Donald Trump. These people get triggered at even the slightest negative thing towards him. Trumpanzee An irrational creature prone to wild overreaction, rattling its cage at the slightest provocation and indiscriminately flinging its faeces around until everything is covered in excrement. (That is the original definition from the person who coined the term) https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Trumpanzee Maybe if the likes of you were more concerned with racism instead of the complaints about it, people like the one below wouldn't feel emboldened like it was the 1950's. http://www.13abc.com/content/news/A...rged-vandalism-on-Ogden-Avenue-488206961.html
Most likely it was a subliminal slip and he meant to say "muck it up" since there is no phrase "monkey it up" Might it reflex a bias against blacks? Quite possibly. Might it mean nothing? Possibly. It's not enough to accuse a man of being a racist in my book. But it is eyebrow raising and peculiar to say the least. It would make me suspicious of the guy, but I wouldn't yet claim him have made a racist remark.
In normal political environment, a nominee would offer an apology for his poor choice of words (cue in FOX News' public disapproval of the language used). But since DeSantis is trying to appeal to Trump's base - people who tend to blame minorities, immigration and political correctness/establishment for their problems - he chose to not do that. The guy is between a rock and a hard place. I hope he doesn't get away with it the way Trump gets away with his dog whistles.
