I wonder what matt chapmans similar homer on Monday night was on hit probability. They looked really similar.

Glad I was wrong too. But didn't feel good about it at the time AT ALL.

So, isn't that two records broken? One, walk-off HRs in a season by MLB. Two, Tyler White's wimpiest homerun in the league walk-off. lol

No reason, simply no reason White shouldn't be playing every single day right now. I understand they have to give Gattis some AB's, but when that happens White should start at 1st.

So you’re all for taking one of our better bats out of the lineup in Yuli?

I don't think Yuli is a better bat than White. A .719 OPS isn't something to rave about. His OPS is literally lower than everybody on the roster right now except Reddick, who he's only slightly higher than.

Our best lineup right now has Yuli and White both in it, but we can't just leave Gattis to rot in the corner of the dugout, he has to start on occasion. And when that happens Yuli should sit, not White.

He has the 4th best avg behind White, Tuves and Bregs. I agree White should stay in the lineup but not at the cost of Yuli unless he just needs a break. The only time Gattis should get play time is when one or the other needs rest.

Gattis is better than Yuli (as a hitter). Both have been terrible the last 6 weeks, but even then, Gattis' 0.687 OPS dwarfs Yuli's 0.554. Yuli has been one of the worst players in baseball since the ASB.

Yuli is the better defender which still trumps the idea of White replacing him just so Gattis gets ab’s.

    Yuli .281 .313 .406 .719
    Gattis .232 .289 .475 .764

Tyler White is a Travis Hafner clone.

When Gattis plays, he'll DH. White at 1B, Yuli at 3B, Alex at SS, Correa gets the day off. Problem solved!

I wonder how much Yuli's hand has been bothering him this year. Was it his left hand? I don't remember, but the hamate bone is a total b!tch to come back from.

All things being equal (which they are not, ever usually), Yuli is an infinitely better hitter than Gattis.

I know, it's just stupid, kinda like the dumbass "claws and antlers" stuff the Rangers did a few years ago. Nobody has ever accused baseball players of being normal people. And also, teams that hate each other have also won together/apart. Look up "25 guys 25 cabs".

I think that with this team if they have something that they can have fun with it galvanizes and keeps them loose and not pressing so much as we have seen they are prone to do on some long stretches.( having everyone back and healthy doesn’t hurt either)

The **** is stupid, but if they like it, so be it.

It is something that can work with some clubs. It worked well for the Cubs year 1, but by year 2 the players were sick of pajama parties and high school bull ****.

When it gets old, the players will stop it.
