Thought he was older than that since he actually took awhile to kind of stick. 2 years ago none of them enter the discussion. Donaldson was #1, then Machado then Beltre
Making them burn more and more of their pen just bodes well for us the rest of this series. They’re going to have to put a position player in if it gets any worse.
Stros beating up on the hottest team in the league like a rag doll. Can’t wait to see what we do to the Red Sox.
Hope we can dominate A's Tues and Wed like this as well now that we know we can hit at home. Would love to get a sweep against Oakland.
Honestly I didn't know he was that young until about a month ago when I had to double check his stats because they are so unreal this year. It's impressive what he's done at his age so far and he kind of flies under the radar.
Pretty sure the record is 11. Astros have 7 with 10+, 2 with 9 and 2 with 8. They have a chance to tie, but I'd be surprised if they do. Jake and White need 1. Stassi and Yuli need 2. The next closest have 5.
I kind of feel sorry for Gattis but White is playing like a beast right now. And he is more versatile. I think that is one of our strengths to have versatile players like Gonzales, Yuli, Kemp, and White. I don't think Gattis has done anything but DH all year. I doubt if he will be back with us next year.
Now that I think about it.... Astros only scored in 2 innings today. In each, they scored enough runs to win. And they surrendered 4 runs. Wows
How in the world does Edwin Jackson have an era below 3? Edit: Just looked at this advanced stats...we need to send him to Regression Avenue tomorrow where he belongs.
No one wants to sit behind homeplate and miss the action I guess... A’s looking Dodgers-level shook right now though
i feel so good about this team's momentum right now. it's that baseball time of year...even as football is getting started
Yeah, 11... Stros tied it '15. Checking now, I didn't realize how many of those guys are no longer with the team - only 5 remain.
