All the talk is usually around Altuve, Correa and Springer.... but Bregman is a legitimate young star.

Like Verlander said... “I have never met anyone that loves baseball as much as Bregman.”

Bergman has been huge since the playoffs last year. Scary thing is there is more to come.

The Astros look more like the Astros.

My wife just walked by as Bregman homered and said “As a woman, you can just tell that guy has a huge dick” and kept walking to finish her P90X

    Modern day 4-horsemen.

Hopefully this allows some to appreciate the impact that just one or two studs have on a lineup full of quality guys. Bregman cannot do it alone... but you put pressure on the pitcher with Springer getting on base, and Altuve on deck, and Bregman becomes that much more dangerous.

Sequencing and talent...that's how lineups score runs.

Jose Ramirez still holds that title. Matt Chapman is making a great case just like Bregman right now.

Bregman >>>>>>>>> Bagwell and Biggio in clutch moments. He can do whatever he wants.

Exactly and you have a cascading effect with the more of those type of guys you can stack in the line up.

Maybe by next year. Certainly has the talent. nolan arenado Is the best 3rd basemen in the game and Bregman needs to catch him first

When you say "still holds that title" it makes it read like Jose is old...crazy part is Jose is 25 years old and the same age as Chapman.

So was Berkman, for that matter.

Biggio/Bagwell's playoff bats had to die for all future Astros stars sins.... so that we could eventually get 'this'.

(Granted, the Astros should hopefully never have to face a Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Kevin Brown-like pitcher year after year).

    Ramirez > Arenado IMO

EDIT: I feel like some people are sleeping on Jose Ramirez in here so going to go ahead and float these stats out there for those wondering what we are up against in the middle of the Indians order:

.290/.403/.606 with 37 homers, 91 RBI, 88 R, 28 SB and his BABIP is only .266 (he hasn't been getting lucky). He has a 15% BB rate vs. a 11% K rate - all together combined with his great 3B play that's 8 WAR through the start of today and he is 25 years old...

Much prefer Smith with a 4 run lead than Rondon with a 1 run lead in the ninth. Thank you Bregman.
