Ohhhhhhhh, NOW I FINALLY SEE. The over-the-top NEGATIVITY in this thread is NOT really about Hooters.... IT'S ABOUT MILLENNIALS BEING BLAMED FOR IT. LMAO @ myself for not putting 2 and 2 together sooner. Multiple after multiple posters stating their case why looking at half-naked women is a BAD thing. LMAO Literally every excuse has been made from McDonalds tasting better - to - Instagram pics being better than looking at live women. Truth is, I don't blame millennials for anything, and never have. Maybe that's why the concept was so foreign to me. I actually thought the blame was just adding a joke by blaming the youth. Every non-millennial who responded simply followed the negative theme since it was convenient. LMAO @ myself... Thread is almost a week old and I'm just now figuring it out. College Station is finally getting its location and should be opening within days. Myself and many others -- namely, millennials -- will enjoy and it will prosper.
Furthermore, it's already been seen historically that older generations disrespect/blame the younger. Yes.. that means Millennials will also disrespect the next younger generation. But I only consider that situation as older people being unhappy with their own success, so they must blame somebody for their shortcomings. F*** that wack/weak mentality and handle your own damn business. See reality more clear.
I'm not a Millennial and I didn't respond with negativity. You still didn't answer my question on your rags-to-riches story.
Most of the peeps in Hooters aren't half naked women, they're fat old men, probably balding (no offense anyone), with nothing better to do.
On what planet ?? And why would you ever expect workers to out-number the customers ?? See everyone .... That's exactly what I mean by over-the-top negatively. Sad, yet fascinating
That's sad to you? And also fascinating? Gratz. The chain is dying. People don't like it. If they did, it wouldn't be dying. So the fact that people talk about it in a negative way would seem like the standard. NEXT.
The only real reason it might be dying is the increased competition. Inventing bullcrap about workers out-numbering the guests is just sad and stupid.
I'll also add... I like Twin Peaks better. But I can easily enjoy either establishment. I used 4 consecutive words that begin with "E". Wows
what would be awesome is if someone could find a pic of Carmelo Anthony at a Hooters and turn this into a Melo thread. amirite @Chamillionaire
The babies are still whining/lying. Lmao Props to Hooters for making it to Airline Level. Don't recall any restaurant that has accomplished the same. Heck, the only restaurant-themed casinos in Vegas are Hooters and Hard Rock Cafe. I've been recently frequenting the Kirby location another poster spoke of. Great talent and I only got a gold-digger vibe from one of 10 girls I've talk to. Those ma'ams have been so kind to me even without being my waitress. The bar has a crappy setup, but that's been the only drawback I've seen.
I'm actually considering staying at the Hooters in LV. Can't beat $35 rooms and a $20 pass that can get you all you can eat wings and beer.
