The GOP has zero excuses for not doing anything about illegal immigration, the issue they fire up conservatives with. Pure incompetence and impotence.

 

The Dems didnt need the GOP for ACA. The GOP didn't need the Dems for the 2017 Tax Cuts.

They can, if all of the GOP were on the same page. They aren’t, so the easiest solution is to attack the other side until a popular solution presents itself or just keep going to the well until something else becomes a bigger talking point.

Happens on both sides of the aisle because there are too many mouths to feed to fit under two parties, especially when it comes to cultural issues like this one, abortion, crime, etc.

 

I'd suggest getting out of the D&D whilst you still can.

 

The reason it is discussed because it is an easier sale than the real underlying issue in this case. What happened to Tibbetts has happened and will continue to happen to countless women in this country. Our society is extremely patriarchal, in all of its worst elements and inherently sexist. A lot of us won't admit it but we are numb to violence against women..........hence very few people batting an eye to yet another instance of violence against a woman who had the nerve to say she wasn't interested. We'd rather ignore the elephant in the room and instead frame the situation as an immigration issue. Only in America.........

 

I think violence against women is often discussed. The USA doesn't have some massive problem compared to the rest of the world, but you still have a valid base argument that it is a biological issue.

someone like you could probably physically overpower >99% of the women in the USA. That's an amazing statistic if you think about it. It's the beauty part about handguns and concealed carry laws. Any 90 pound girl could dispatch you in seconds with one.

Well there are two sides to the coin. This ******* was going around TARGETING women specifically to carjack them. His technique was to spot a small girl that was alone, beat them into submission with brass knuckles and then take their car.



Now, I'm personally against that. This victim he beat on and tried to steal her car had mace and a fighting will.

No, not just "to me", to the law there is something wrong with people being in the country illegally. In fact, to any halfway decent person there is something wrong with people being in the country illegally. You have to be a pretty awful person to support that kind of thing.
