One could imagine a public meeting in the Senate with Cohen completely off the chain.

"So Mr Cohen, what is the dirtiest dirt you got on Trump? Take your time."

 

We may eventually get a look at those tax returns...

 

I boldly predict that the IRS will not audit a sitting President.

 

You do know that Stone and Manafort were business partners for decades right?

Both men have been considered GOP henchman since the Reagan era that other Republicans were careful to keep a distance from. Manafort has always played the role of the money while Stone plays the role of public showman. I think they are both big players here and all signs are that Stone will be indicted either before Labor Day or after the mid terms.

The one thing I keep coming back to though is that Manafort puts Mueller in the room with the Russians and the Trump family. That’s can’t not be a big part of this end game to the collusion/conspiracy question with the Russians.

 

But according to trump, they already are... and have been for years.

FoxNews and the GOP laid the ground work for something like this to happen. They just didn’t expect a criminal, charlatan like Trump to bogart in and take the head seat at the table. But their moves had always been in line with establishing single-party donomiance, not unlike what we see in authoritarian states.

This whole series of events is likely to get far worse, long term. Imagine if Trump was remotely competent....

 

Trump is a buffoon. i'm on record here and elsewhere.
