You will rationalize any behavior simply to support the narrative you want.

Fredo and Jared were in that meeting w the Russians in Trump tower in NYC. Jared had many dealings w Russian oligarchs in NYC. they could also be liable to state charges in NY

 

Following wherever the investigation lead and prosecuting law breakers was precisely what Rosenstein directed Mueller to do.

 

People like @Commodore, who have screamed "drain the swamp" in their sleep for the last two years, now believe that an investigator is only allowed to pursue a narrowly-focused path and ignore all other crimes they uncover along the way. For example, a police officer who is called to a domestic disturbance case would only be allowed to separate the couple and look into the disturbance. He'd be forced to ignore drugs and weapons in the house, if he saw them, because such things existed "outside of his mandate" as an investigator.

All this makes no difference to the Trump's base, it will probably motivate them to come out and vote more for GOP this year, sad state for this country.

This is exactly right. I have a friend who is like this. No matter what you say or what evidence you put in their face, you will never change their minds. It is really sad.

Voters already heard him talking about grabbing women on tape BEFORE pulling that lever. Everyone knew he was a scumbag. I don't see a little hush money for a mistress as being a deal breaker.

This is a non-shooting war. It is win at all costs. The losers get the war crimes convictions.

Yup, those who defended Clinton despite him obviously being guilty of obstruction of justice and perjury were some of the first to talk impeachment when it came to this president. Funny how that happens.

 

Right, just questioned over it and he lied about it. But that line of questioning never would've come up had the investigation not found its way to Lewinsky when its original mandate was Whitewater. I won't bother asking you if you think that it should've ignored the Lewinsky avenue of investigation and remained entirely focused on Whitewater.
