    Gotta trade for Smoak to replace Gattis. Another lefty (well, actually switch hitting) option.
    And yeah, I made that post just before the GIDP happened, I just had a bad feeling the moment Reddick took ball 4, and I was right. If Gurriel was safe in the 4th, Reddick's homer (13, matching last year's total) would have been 2-run instead of a solo shot. Hopefully that won't matter.

    Even Gattis who is obviously a heavy flyball hitter grounds into them.

    It’s just piss poor execution. Taking the pitchers double play bait every time.

    We can only hope the depth of the problem today inspires a changed approach.

    Why can’t tyler white be our DH? If we are healthy he can replace Gattis and Gattis merely a bench guy.

    I think White has earned the opportunity: he’s fun to watch. And he won’t cost you anything.
