Who hit the game winner? Future Hall of Fame coach Rudy T wanted Maloney to start. Rudy T drew up a play for him to hit that three. Rudy T wanted to keep Maloney after 2 years, CD agreed. Les paid and while wanting to replace Clyde with another HOF player. Hakeem, Barkley, and Drexler also agreed since they played with the guy and didn't ask for anything to change. Barkley has only ever had positive things to say about the guy. So no. I don't agree he sucked. He broke. Big difference. Shandon Anderson sucked, Pippen Sucked, Thomas Hamilton sucked, Rodrick Rhodes sucked, Mo Taylor sucked, Ariza was a hoax. Parsons got paid and broke, Maloney got paid and broke. Lin broke then got paid then sucked.
Both the OG and Pinstripe uniforms need to be brought out two or three times a season. Harden could even demand they use the short shorts version from the 80's.
Yeah, thats another one. No, **** the clowns we willingly bring in that refuse to work or contribute in any meaningful way. We can deal with players who try. But compound it with players who willingly hinder any sort of positive progress are the ones I go after. Royce White, Ty Lawson, David Anderson, Asik after we brought in Dwight. Would throw Brewer in there, he was big in LAC series. Otherwise he's damn sure in that pile.
Is this for a 30th anniversary? Man, what an awful franchise. It's hard to name more irrelevant franchises. Which, in case you wanted to know here are the worst Big 4 sports franchises by winning %; selected as 5-worst from each league: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (38%) NFL Charlotte Hornets (38%) NBA Minnesota Timberwolves (39%) NBA LA Clippers (40%) NBA Detroit Lions (41%) NFL Brooklyn Nets (41%) NBA Memphis Grizzlies (41%) NBA Winnipeg Jets/Atlanta Thrashers (42%) NHL Columbus Blue Jackets (42%) NHL Cleveland Browns (43%) NFL Arizona Cardinals (43%) NFL Atlanta Falcons (43%) NFL Florida Panthers (44%) NHL Tampa Bay Lightning (45%) NHL Arizona Coyotes (45%) NHL Tampa Bay Rays (46%) MLB San Diego Padres (46%) MLB Colorado Rockies (46%) MLB Seattle Mariners (46%) MLB Philadelphia Phillies (47%) MLB Poor Hornets. As we can see - only 5 teams were selected from each sport but NBA teams cluster around the absolute worst. It has really been a league of haves and have-nots for decades. Makes you wonder if a GM can ever turn around a franchise that is just destined for failure when everyone just wants to go play on the beach or be in Hollywood.
Man it must suck being a fan in Tampa.. and yeah seriously, Hornets are honoring Rice, bogues, and ROTY Johnson. Not that they're bad, but in comparison to legends of other teams we should be thankful for what our organization has done.
