    BTW Matt Maloney doesn't deserve the hate he gets on this forum. He did pretty damn well considering the circumstances with the Rockets and in his personal life.

    His rookie year was a success, he looked like he was going to be decent. His father passed away and suddenly he was a rookie starting on a team with Hakeem, Charles, and Clyde. He found ways to be effective against Gary Payton and drop 26 points on him one game. Jazz shut him down though.

    It all started falling apart the next season. But he didn't quit, give up, or pout. He broke and it was over.

    Ok Matt, whatever you want to believe.

    Considering the circumstances you had a 7 year contract with the added benefit of playing with 3 hall of famers to learn from and distribute to all while being coached by someone who should be in the hall of fame & yet still screwed it up.

    I have to repeat myself..Being a point guard with the privilege of having 3 hall of famers on the opposite end of your passes and yet STILL sucking it up on the court is astonishingly bad. Hate deserved.

    What did he screw up? What sucking it up did he do? Got paid, not his fault. Got hurt, not his fault.

    Pretty sure Clyde screwed up the WCF in 1997. No point guard in the league could of helped in 1998. Earned a contract, got hurt, so hate because angry over things you don't remember.
