The Manafort case rulings don't seem to affect Trump much as the charges stem well before he ever worked for Trump.

The Cohen flip is the big news. Now its he said, he said. Whether Cohen can corroborate his claims is going to be key.

Begs the question, was it a coincidence that Trump hired all these white collar criminals or intentional....

Either way Trump is incompetent or corrupt. Frankly it could be both but in terms of this issue, it’s at least one of those things.

    Trump only hires the best!

That's all I can think is that Trump seems to be the head of some mob-like syndicate.

Or first of 3, since mistrial on 10 counts means 10 counts that can be re-tried (I'm assuming).

Just because Trump's cronies have and will continue to be found guilty, doesn't mean that a smoking gun against Trump will ever arise. There is no way Trump put himself anywhere near illegal activity. In politics, plausible deniability reigns supreme, and even though Trump is an outsider, he knows that fact well.

This reminds me so much of the Lewinsky scandal. Republicans wasted billions of dollars, and countless hours of taxpayers time, just to never get their guy. Liberals are doing the same now. You'll never get the payoff you think you will.

Trump would have already been indicted if he wasn't president, according to lawyers. Federal statues won't allow the indictment of a sitting President. However, that where Congress has to do their jobs.

Cohen just named Trump (as Candidate for Federal office) as a co-conspirator in a CRIME. That is the smoking gun.

If that is the case, then there is no one to blame but ourselves. Politicians will always protect politicians - because if they don't they open themselves up to scrutiny, and most get in power by being dirty.

If the evidence was there, democrat voters should be holding their elected officials accountable for not vigorously pursuing impeachment. But the fact is, the evidence isn't as strong as you hope, or at least not strong enough for enough democrats to put their asses on the line for it. Either way, Trump will be just fine, we know he has no problem playing the villain.

You don't know what a smoking gun is. Testimony against someone else without proof, is speculation. And when that testimony is in your own defense, it greatly hinders it's value. If that was the case, Clinton could have been found guilty of several rapes. Without hard evidence, testimony means very little.

Again, just further proof that people are grasping at straws all in an effort to dethrone Trump. I don't like the guy, and didn't vote for the guy, but I also know he's not an idiot. Politicians, businessmen, and people in power, always have layers of protection in place.

If you were arguing that nothing will happen to him because of Republicans in congress then you would probably have a point. But Cohen was his personal lawyer and has already shown that he has recorded conversations with Trump among who knows what else. Your argument that there aren't any smoking guns involving Trump is premature to say the least.
