Was reading article on interview with Jaguar CB Jalen Ramsey's opinion on league QB's and here is what he had to say on Watson: I hope Watson burns him deep just to reiterate his point.
Dbs read and react, so it helps them tremendously. How wr use their hands, how they break off routes, how they stutter, etc....
Answered your own question there, no? Hop uses the reps to figure out what telltale signs he is giving away that allows the DB to anticipate his next moves. I'm sure both are sharing information in that regard.
Kayvon Webster is coming off a torn Achilles, so I'm not sure how much value he'd provide, but I guess he's worth a flier.
How has KJ been so far this camp/preseason? He seemed destined to have a strong career after his rookie season, but obviously has been injured and/or a dud since. Is he gonna be a big piece this year? Or is he likely to repeat 2017?
Crennel likes to play 3 safeties a lot of times. Badger iloka and Reid would be nice. Along with jackson jjoe and Colvin. Also having KJ would help to spell jjoe so he could stay fresh through out the game. I think this would be a real solid move to shore up our defensive backfield.
Well...in this game he was beaten badly on a route, then he fell on his face and knocked himself unconscious....so that's less than what we were hoping for. Well you have Badger, Kareem Jackson, and Reid for that. Kareem Jackson has looked pretty good at safety thus far. I can understand the idea behind moving him back to corner, but he's not that good there. I think the Texans wait and see what corners might become available instead of jumping on another safety.
So am I. I just included Coates because the two guys that were taking Braxtons roster spot went down with injuries.
From the way he kept getting up from each tackle, it doesn't look like he'll be able to withstand half a season.
