So what are the odds Bauer gets caught for pine tar on Sunday? I think odds are very good he's using pine tar in the first inning.
Or read any of the articles that have been written since Bauer made his comments weeks ago. There's probably been 6 posted on this bbs. eta: hahahaha...there's one in the post right above his.
Yeah. . the same post that reeks of rivalry among alma mater. Do you TRULY believe these comments are made if there wasn't an extra connection ? Be WEAK like @Invisible Fan on simple questions from my simple brain.
Even when you don't like the player, kinda sucks to see them hurt... Indians' Trevor Bauer has stress fracture in leg, to miss 4-6 weeks CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer, one of the leading candidates for the AL Cy Young Award, will be out four to six weeks because of a stress fracture in his right leg. Bauer, who believes he'll return earlier than the team's timetable, was hit by Jose Abreu's liner Saturday against the Chicago White Sox. He experienced soreness and swelling, and an MRI on Tuesday revealed the injury. Cleveland holds a 12-game lead over Minnesota in the AL Central entering Friday and will have to clinch the division without Bauer. The right-hander is 12-6 with a 2.22 ERA in 25 starts and is among the league leaders in ERA, innings pitched and strikeouts. Bauer could return during the regular season in mid-to-late September. He played catch from his knees -- while wearing a walking boot -- with an athletic trainer Friday afternoon at Progressive Field.
I thought the tweet was great, and the fact that MLB network and ESPN both thought it was real and reported on it just made it even moreso.
I, for one, am glad Bauer's getting known for his so-called intellect than for his pitching. What's Cleveland's record?
lmao does he really believe that his "I didn't accuse anyone of cheating" argument is convincing to anyone? He must have an extremely low opinion of the intelligence of other. There are a lot worse human beings playing baseball but I don't know how I could root for this guy if he were an Astro.
Maybe the Pirates coaching staff is just bad... https://www.si.com/mlb/2018/09/04/y...st-standings-edwin-diaz-saves-record-mariners
Its sometimes easier to take an established player from elsewhere, with talent, and make improvements.... that player is also typically more motivated to do so. It also leads to some early success as scouts now have to develop a different scouting report.
