This movie begs to have Jonathan Banks cast as his retired mentor, snowplow operator from the next town over, who tries to talk Nels out of getting involved, but ends up teaching him a few tricks of how to turn a snowplow into a formidable foe for revenge.
I thought this was a joke when I heard the guys on The Dan Patrick Show talking about it this morning.
Taken 3 was kinda sad because he could hardly move. He's just too old to be doing any action or fighting.
That's why he's gonna let the plow do all the gory murderin' an' such. "It wasn't me, officer! The plow had a mind of its own!"
Didn't he say a while back he was done with action films because he's too old? That's all he ever makes any more. Liam is too good of an actor to waste his particular set of skills just doing fluff action films seemingly every film. He's seemingly done action on every type of transportation device there is. Now, it's a snowplow? LOL
"Taking the law into his own hands with only the tools of an outdoorsman and snowplow driver..." C'mon, how ****ing great is that line? Plus, dude's name is Nels Coxman. If I learned anything from 80's ski movies, it's that there's gonna be a montage.
Maybe, I wonder if they require a little less stress or introspection than a dramatic role; and perhaps he was looking for something like that after Richardson's freak passing (though the first one was released beforehand), and didn't necessarily expect it to be so successful that he'd do more.
