Why don't you post the numbers from the chairman? I can't share client data as I signed an NDA. My status as a professional is more important than winning a debate with a stranger on the internet who calls me a liar because they are too lazy to do their own homework.

I wrote the women's game is more popular and I stand by that. I can't share private date, but I can share something I found publicly that took all of 14 secs to find:\

Is she playing an Asian? Or is she "playing an Asian"?

It definitely would draw higher ratings than any tennis match in recent history

Not sure why you continue talking out of your ass, but youre proving my point by posting from the feminist Kerry Close who uses 2 rarities in an attempt at an argument. A final from 2005, and one in 2014. Amazing.

https://twitter.com/KerryClose ... still prowling the internet looking for anything anti-female and attacking it

And that's exactly what this issue is. Feminist agenda's that don't have anything to do with equality, just anti-male sentiment. There's no argument whatsoever to back it up other than using Serena being the female GOAT-which does nothing for the viewership/revenue's of the other 250 or so women on tour. Would you be fine with your work giving out equal pay to women who brought in less revenue than you, did less work, were less qualified but based on the fact of "equality", took chunks out of your pay? Take 5 minutes of your time, read the article below

Yes, Tennis Earnings At The Majors Are Biased. Against The Men

Those are just the facts. That doesn't get into women playing 3 sets, being less skilled, etc. which allows them to also cash in on doubles. If you believe in equality, you'll see that it's biased against the men.

Not to rain on your parade, but men's tennis brings in much bigger ratings and more money than the women -- you certainly have outliers where a women's final will outperform the men, but those are pretty rare (Venus v. Serena for example). If you get a final like the Australian in 2017 with Nadal vs. Fed nothing is going to beat that -- women's tennis has had more growth in viewership, but that is leveling off. Tennis is about to go through a down period across the board as the current generation of stars start retiring and we wait for the next generation rivalries to emerge.

They intentionally stopped releasing revenue figures last year, but the attendance is almost triple at mens events, and outside of serena (1 player) mens games generate more demand and higher prices at US events (and more overseas).

I have no issue with equal pay based on merit or ability, but a precedent has been set where women can demand equal pay despite not measuring up to any metric the men have to use. I ask again -how is that equal?

So for all your points KC the data also backs it up for trans athletes that are either post op (no testes) or taking hormones that completely block testosterone production. They underperform women and vastly underperform men in running tests. I don’t have a link to back this up right now but I can find the data. I got into a back and forth with my post op trans friend who also plays tennis. She was right about the athletic performance part after testosterone is taken away.

Again, you are the one to be arguing this as a feminist or an equal pay issue, I am not talking about earnings or revenue.

My only point is to say that woman's tennis is as POPULAR as the men's game. Nothing more or less. You are trying to making this about revenue, I am not.

The ratings of the men's game and women's game are on par, if anything the women's game is higher now and for the US open and other tourneys, they get higher ratings overall - obviously the players matter a lot. Men's game may bring in more money but my only point is the women's game is more popular.

Based on what metric? It is a lie on all fronts and I don't know why you keep repeating it? Revenue, attendance, media numbers, etc. None of them are close.

TV Ratings for woman's games are on par or exceeds men's on average. I shared a link. Up to you to read it.

No, they are not. You used two particular games with the Williams, I used entire ratings for men's games vs women's games, provided an article with every stat to back this up over different grand slams, different players, and tournaments that weren't grand slams. It is widespread knowledge, admitted by women and women's tennis CEO, that men garner higher ratings and generate much more revenue.

    http://thefederalist.com/2017/06/29/yes-tennis-earnings-majors-biased-men/
Ratings for the men’s final at this year’s French Open on NBC were 45 percent higher than for the women (1.6 million average versus 1.1). U.S. ratings for the Federer-Nadal Australian Open final this year were 19 percent higher than for the Serena-Venus final, and more than double, 4.4 million versus 1.7 million in Australia.

    https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/42729296
Navritolanova: "You should not be upset (referring to Djokovic) that someone is making just as much as you because, for the moment, your TV ratings are bigger than the other guy."

"If you just get paid like that, then Roger Federer should get paid 10 times. He should get paid more than Novak because his ratings are better - so should Roger then get a better piece of the action? It would never occur to him to ask."

Even the women don't use this as an argument because they can't, they admit it but fall back on being an "equal brand of tennis". So why insist on lying, just because you can on the internet?

The federalist isn't a legit source of information. If you can provide a legit source that shows the ratings numbers side by side then show it. But from what I have seen, women's tennis is more popular globally than the men's game - i emphasize globally.

Now, I am not making a case for equal pay here. I am just stating a fact in terms of ratings

Is there a definition for "popular" of which I'm not aware?

You'd think women's tennis would be as popular, if not more, but I'm thinking more of myself growing up without the internet. It was women's tennis, Denise Austin, and Victoria's Secret catalogues. I remember finding a stack of playboys at my grandfather's house after he died. I hid them all in a tire by his shed. When I came back by myself on a bike (with a backpack) to get them, the tire was gone.

    Edit: "back"

That's what usually happens with a stack of Playboy magazines.
