Can anyone argue that right now the A’s are the better team? They’ve literally been the best team in baseball for two months and we can’t seem to do any one thing consistently well besides our starters. Offense has been atrocious and the bullpen is back to crumbling under pressure on a routine basis. Frustrating as hell.
Not sure if it's true but they're saying Maldonado illegally blocked home plate. And when I say they I mean some poster on another board said that's what he heard.
When ATT finally got the slower angle that MLB had, he gets the hand in mainly due to the tag being on the chest(with the hand touching the plate). If Maldonado tags the hand or arm, may be a different outcome.

I thought it would take a collapse for the Astros to lose this division and that's what the Astros have been doing, collapsing. They look uptight. Maybe Hinch isn't the calming influence a lot of people proclaim him to be.
