I understand US protectionism going back to Carnegie steel padawan. YES i know its a multi-faceted argument with several whack a mole scenarios but the US has not asserted its power and has had manipulations and unfair practices for years. OBAMA was also vocal about unfair trade practices but this administration is willing to play a little rougher to even the scales. Every little bit they fight helps American workers so i'm all for it.
How does it help the american worker when companies have to get exemptions from the tariffs? Tariffs on steel is an interesting tactic when we have been in the midst of a energy boom for the last 4 years. It’s pretty clear the US economy is strong in spite of “unfair trade practices”. Maybe those unfair practices aren’t as impactful as sold by Trump?
The US economy is so multi-faceted but all things together do have an impact in aggregate. Taking a soft approach is akin to allowing 1 papercut which isn't a big deal but thousands will eventually weaken you enough to be killed.

It is okay and acceptable to start impeachment proceedings if Trump has committed high crimes and/or misdemeanors worthy of impeachment. I don't believe that is the course as of yet. After Mueller's report is made final, then they can decide to impeach or not.
There have been no high crimes or anything charged or anything worthy of impeachment. YET 70%+ percentage of Democrats want him impeached. There is no Mueller report, there is no crimes yet most Democrats want him impeached anyway and multiple democratic congressmen have already brought up charges of impeachment and its discussed constantly in left leaning media and circles. Can you PLEASE AGREE that the above is wrong and completely terrible behavior? It is behavior of people that can't believe they lost. If Mueller's report comes out that he colluded with Russia to influence the election I sure as hell will want him out.
The investigation is ongoing. It has been going on for a shorter duration than Whitewater investigation, Benghazi investigation, Watergate investigation, etc. We won't know anything for sure until the final report has been submitted. Based only on what has been released, it is not unreasonable to guess that Trump is quite possibly guilty of conspiracy against the United States, Obstruction of Justice, possibly Campaign fraud as well. I won't say for sure he is guilty because not all of the information has been released, there has been no trial as of yet, etc. I won't say it's completely terrible behavior. I would say it is premature and knee-jerk behavior to request an impeachment right now. I think all media should discuss the possibility of impeachment. It is a newsworthy topic.
