The question, as I see it, is what becomes of the O w/Boogs? I mean, anytime Steph doesn't have the ball I'm a happier fellow. I know Boggie is multi-talented, can pass etc etc et alia but, are the Dubs better w/the ball in his hand than in Steph's? Or KT's? Would BC be covering Me7o on D and how would that work out for Dubs?

While I'm not entirely convinced one way or another about Carmelo helping against the Warriors, I will say that it's a massive shift in the philosophy and approach from last season. Optimistically, I'm hoping that Melo won't be such a net negative defensively against the Warriors that it completely negates his offense. There's no denying that with a healthy CP3 and Melo on the floor in Game 7, chances are we don't go 0/27 from 3....and honestly, that might have been all it took to take GS down. I'm excited for this season though. And I'm also excited for the prospect of another move coming before the February deadline. Let's get it.

Isolation with James Harden and Chris Paul, two of the greatest isolation players of all time, is what took the Warriors to the brink.

Melo is not that at this point. Not even close.

um.. way to put words in my mouth saying i questioned pj's starting spot. all i said was that pj doesnt give a **** if he starts or not and hes more important to the playoff rotation than to burn all of his mins in the regular season
bc a join date means means everything... lol. so if i joined in 99 i'm smart and if i joined in 2018 i'm dumb. that's completely logical
pot calling the kettle black... classic

I just can't see Anderson starting at the 4 instead of Melo. Melo abuses Anderson whenever they played against each other and I'm hopeful that Melo's defense would be better than Anderson's. We got abused last year at the start of games due to Anderson's inability to shoot in the Toyota center. As a result, PJ was inserted into the starting lineup and we took off. Anderson is a mental midget right now and we are trying to get whatever we can for his contract.

Bottom line, I just don't see Anderson starting over Melo. Also, I just want to see the lineup in the last 5 minutes of a tight game? That will tell all we need to know about who finishes the game.

If we throw out the following lineup, who else would Boogie cover. It's all about matchups. Who would win in a game of one on one between Melo and Boogie. The other factor is how well learns how to play help defense in our system since he would be our defacto rim protector in this lineup.

    CP3
    Harden
    EGo
    Tucker
    Melo
