So our players are assholes now? When you're struggling to score runs you do what you can to move runners over and get them in.

Pregame said McCullers was NOT injured while pitching.

    He should have bunted ;)

What do you expect him to say to the media? Just straight throw everyone under the bus? "Our players are playing like crap, they have to do better. I have to coach better, Luhnow needs to GM better"?

Hmmm...where have I heard that last bit before?

We do not know what he says to the team, and what the team says to each other.

Hinch whining less about uncontrollable factors like Injuries and umpiring doesn’t mean he has to throw his team under the bus. Why can’t he just talk about how they plan on turning things around?

We don’t know what he says to the players - agreed. But when players watch him make these excuses to the media and express self pity is a lot more likely to also feel sorry for themselves than to look within for answers.

At some point it is what it is. We have a crapload more talent than Seattle and Oakland but have almost the same records. We can talk about our injuries but Seattle has been without Robinson cano! Hiding from the truth isn’t a solution.

Which is the opposite of what Fisher did on that play... everyone I was watching that with saw that as a routine pop-up and not even a spectacular defensive play.. the play, which was good, should’ve cost Houston an out and advancing the runner at first...that’s it. We had no business getting two outs and advancing no runners on that play. Anyone with any baseball IQ knows this and Fisher knows he ****ed up badly. Let’s not ballwash the players like they’re babies. They need to held accountable for doing idiotic stuff like that.

Wouldn't be surprised if it is, even against a guy with a 10 plus ERA. The team is a steaming pile of poo at home right now.

"How they plan on turning things around"? "We need to get our stars healthy and play better baseball." That's it. I just do not really understand what you want or expect.

But this game could be curtains, sure. Are the curtains craven? I don't know.

That play was all on fisher. It should not have been a double play; he had a good view of the ball and should have made it back pretty easily.

Thought it was a good call to have him running given our offensive struggles.

Maybe we should only pinch run fisher at second base since that always seems to work! Keep it simple for him...

But "his heart told him the ball would drop in"!

He wanted to listen to his heart, just like Roxette told him to.

Can't handle the TBS chucklef***s anymore, switching to the home broadcast as if that will make a difference.

Maybe Houston Legend Geoff Blum's motivational mojo can overcome whatever stupid jinx Kalas puts on them and provide some sort of offensive spark?

Welp, first man reached. Inning to make something happen here against this power 10+ ERA pitcher here.
